The apparatus includes a base, a rotatable disk mounted on the base, and a cover mounted on the base above the disk. A clutch mechanism is provided for rotating the disk, and a braking mechanism is provided for stopping rotation of the disk in one of a plurality of predetermined positions. The cover includes a plurality of spaced apertures and the disk includes a plurality of groups of matched pictures which are oriented so that a plurality of matched pairs of pictures are aligned with the apertures when the disk is stopped in one of the predetermined positions.

An apparatus and method for learning about the relationships and personalities among a group of participating persons, wherein a plurality of players can utilize tokens on a board in combination with a plurality of color cubes, scoring sticks, secret answer wheels, and question cards in the preferred embodiment of the invention. Scoring and the movement of the tokens is controlled by a combination of chance and the participating persons' knowledge of each other, as revealed by the secret answering of questions related to the present and future feelings and intentions of given persons chosen to be participants. Scoring is noted by insertion of relationship sticks into color cubes located on the tokens. The color personalities of the participating persons are reflected in individual participating person's sequential choice of color cubes for that person's token and thus effects the content of questions to be asked and answered relating to the personality of the participant. A predicted answer is given for comparison with answers given by the players. The predicted answer is based upon psychological profiles developed for a given color personality which corresponds to the color personality of the participant player who is answering a given question.

A method of playing an action figure game on the surface is also disclosed. The method comprises providing for each player a plurality of the game pieces, each game piece having an indicium indicating a point value, a mechanism for indicating a distance the game piece has moved over the surface, and a mechanism for attacking an opponent player's game pieces. The method also comprises selecting for each player a group of the game pieces having point values summing to a predetermined value and selecting a number of actions each player can take per player's turn. An action comprises either a move, comprising moving a game piece a distance up to the particular game piece's point value, or an attack, comprising actuation of the particular game piece's attacking mechanism. Players alternate taking turns, selectively making a move or an attack, until the game is determined to have ended.
