摘要： According to the present disclosure, features, components and techniques useable for providing air cleaner arrangements are provided. Many of the features relate to an axial seal arrangement provided on a filter cartridge. A typical filter cartridge, for use with these features, is a filter cartridge having opposite flow ends. Example media arrangements that fit this characterization are described. Seal arrangements provided with an axial housing sealing engagement surface are shown. A seal arrangement is provided. Also, air cleaner assemblies having advantageous features therein are provided. Further, air cleaner housings are described, with selected, preferred features for engagement with filter cartridges.

摘要： A filter has a filter housing with a housing cover coupled to a housing part to close a receiving space receiving filter elements each provided with a filter medium body and a frame device around the filter medium body. The filter housing has a radially inwardly projecting, circumferential contact shoulder in the receiving space. The housing cover, when mounted, exerts an axial clamping force on the frame device of a first filter element. An axial end of the first filter element facing away from the housing cover rests on the frame device of a second filter element. The clamping force is transmitted through frame device of first filter element to frame device of second filter element. The frame device of the second filter element has a circumferential seal with a hollow chamber profile pressed by the clamping force on the contact shoulder to seal-tightly contact the contact shoulder.

摘要： A filter cartridge includes a media pack having first and second opposite flow faces; the media pack comprising flutes extending in a direction between the inlet flow face and the outlet flow face; a frame mounted on the second flow face of the media pack; a seal support section extending from the base member; and first and second opposite and spaced blades extending from the base member and in a different direction from the base member as the seal support section. The first and second blades are embedded within the media pack through the second flow face. A seal member is oriented against the seal support section. The filter cartridge can be removably oriented in a cassette. The cassette and filter cartridge are removably oriented in an air cleaner housing. The cassette may include lugs to help position the cartridge in sealing engagement with the air cleaner housing. In another embodiment, the filter cartridge is cassette-free and includes a cartridge-handle projecting therefrom.

The flat filter element (34) includes a filter medium (64) with an inflow-side raw side (62) and an outflow-side clean side (58). An element sealing section (77) surrounds, circumferentially closed, the filter medium (64) on the raw side (62), the clean side (58), or between the raw side (62) and the clean side (58). The element sealing section (77) serves for supporting a sealing device (78) for sealing the raw side (62) relative to the clean side (58) upon arrangement of the flat filter element (34) in a filter housing (12) of the filter (10). At least one support/positioning body (72, 74, 76) can be supported, for positioning and holding at least the sealing device (76) in the filter housing (12), on the one hand at least on the sealing device (78) and on the other hand on the filter housing (12).
