The atomization device performs processing such as emulsification, dispersion, atomization, mixing, or stirring on a processing object with fluidity using the rotor-stator type mixer while an inside of the processing tank is maintained in a pressured state, at atmospheric pressure, or in a vacuum state. The atomization device has a mechanism in which the rotating rotor makes the processing object flow at a predetermined pressure or higher.

The method includes preparing an agitation mixer including an agitation vessel, an impeller rotated in the agitation vessel, and a feed pipe connected to the agitation vessel and having a multiple pipe structure including an outer pipe and an inner pipe arranged in the outer pipe. A shearing clearance is formed in the agitation vessel between the impeller and the feed pipe. The method further includes shearing the solution and the solvent by rotating the impeller to precipitate the solid substance while feeding the solution and the solvent into the shearing clearance from the outer pipe and the inner pipe.

When a mixed liquid including a dispersoid and a dispersion medium passes through liquid communication holes (19) of the inner screen member (8) and liquid communication holes (22, 25) of the outer screen members (9, 10) during the course where it flows outward from the impeller (7) to get out of an interplate space, the circumferential component of the flow vector of the mixed liquid is mostly eliminated to allow the mixed liquid to have substantially only the radial component. This prevents the generation of vortexes so as to apply a sufficiently high shearing force to the mixed liquid to effectively prevent the formation of macro bubbles in the mixed liquid.
