    摘要: A centrifugal air cleaning system broadly comprises an insert cartridge including a housing, an inlet, one or more flow guides, a stator, a compression nozzle, an expansion nozzle, and an outlet. The flow guides guide air flowing into the inlet past the stator into the compression nozzle. The stator induces a rotational vortex into the air flow. Air with heavier particles in the air flow is urged to the outside of the rotational vortex. Air with lighter particles and cleaner air is urged to the inside of the rotational vortex. The compression nozzle and the expansion nozzle are aligned to cooperatively form an annular exhaust channel. The air with the heavier particles flows through the annular exhaust channel and the air with the lighter particles and the cleaner air flows to the expansion nozzle to the outlet.

    摘要: A method of separating a fluid includes adding a fluid to a canister of a fluid separator. The canister includes first and second barriers disposed concentrically within the canister that define a first and second annulus within the canister, and a canister rotor having a first magnet associated therewith. The method includes rotating an induction base rotor disposed within an induction base. The induction base rotor includes a second magnet. The canister rotor and the induction base rotor are magnetically coupled and rotating the induction base rotor causes the canister rotor to rotate. The method further includes forming a vortex in the fluid via the rotation of the canister rotor, and the vortex causes the fluid to separate into a first component and a second component.

    摘要: A centrifugal spark arrestor having a main body portion with a first end and a second end spaced from one another. The main body has an interior wall defining a flow path for the flow of air through the main body and a longitudinal axis. An inlet is positioned at the first end and extends generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The inlet is in operative communication with the flow path. An outlet is positioned at the second end; the outlet is in operative communication with the flow path. At least one baffle is positioned within the main body portion between the first and second ends, partially extending into the flow path. Air is pulled into the inlet and forced initially in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and against the interior wall. The air is forced through the main body portion to the outlet in a centrifugal flow path. The baffle is engaged by the air flowing through the main body portion with any particles entrained within the air impinging upon the baffle.
