摘要： A valve has a plurality of material inlet ports, a flushing inlet port, and an outlet port each connected to a respective supply of one of last two different liquid materials. A movable valve body in the valve has a passage and is shiftable between a plurality of positions in each of which a respective one of the inlet ports is connected to the outlet port via the passage. A controller moves the valve body between the positions such that, after each time the valve body is in a position connecting one of the material inlet ports to the outlet port and material has passed through the passage, the valve body is moved into a position connecting the passage with the flushing inlet port for flushing out the passage.

摘要： A method of cleaning a complex powder transfer system including providing a powder transfer system having a washing fluid source, a spray device valve in fluid communication with the washing fluid source, a backflush valve in fluid communication with the washing fluid source, a receiving device having an upper chamber, a lower chamber, and a membrane filter disposed between the upper and lower chambers. The method includes opening the backflush valve to initiate a backflush cycle, running the backflush cycle to wash the upper chamber with a fluid, and closing the backflush valve after the backflush cycle completes. The method includes opening the spray device valve to initiate a spray device cycle, running the spray device cycle to wash the lower chamber with fluid, and closing the spray device valve after the spray device cycle completes. The method includes opening a pressure valve to provide PCA to the receiving container.

摘要： A combustion driven, portable, HVAC duct cleaning system is provided wherein the components of the system are quickly and easily attachable and detachable and are mounted on cart means to allow for mobility of the system. The system includes ducting for attaching the system to ductwork to be cleaned, a primary filter for filtering large debris, a combustion driven blower for creating an airflow, and a secondary filter for final filtering of the air prior to release into the atmosphere. The primary filter includes a breach door for opening the filter to remove filtered material therefrom. The breach door may include a transparent panel for permitting one to view the interior thereof. Preferably, the primary filter includes a wire mesh cone, the point of which extends into the air flow to provide for the filtering of large objects. The blower is preferably a tube axial blower driven by means of a belt interconnected with a combustion engine for driving the impeller within the blower to create an airflow. Thereafter, the airflow can be exhausted into a filter such as an inflatable sleeve filter or a HEPA filter such as a HEPA trailer. In an alternate embodiment, the combustion driven blower may include twin impellers driven by separate combustion engines to increase the resistance to static pressure as would be measured by water column fit. The twin impellers are preferably counter rotational to straighten airflow through the blower and to boost resistance static pressure as would also be measured by water column lift.

摘要： An improvement in a pipe flushing device is provided. The device includes a hollow, elastomeric tubular member expandible by water pressure and having open opposite ends. A hose connector is connected to the inlet end thereof and a valve connected to a transverse groove in the outlet end thereof. The valve includes a hollow cylindrical cage with open sides and front and a rear transverse closure plate sealing the rear end thereof. The plate may have a peripheral flange and in any event seats in the transverse groove. An elastomeric sheath which is both flexible and resilient forms the improvement. The sheath removably covers the exterior of the rear closure plate and helps seal the valve in the groove to prevent fluid by-pass except when the tubular member is expanded. The sheath may have a roughened slip-resistant exterior surface or striations in the exterior thereof to improve the seal and may enclose a portion of the sides of the cage. Alternatively, the sheath can cover the whole valve except the open front thereof and in such instance has perforations in the cage side-covering portion to allow water access to the interior of the cage. The sheath and valve cage form an improved valve assembly.

摘要： A cleaning apparatus, having a motor, a rotatable scouring head, an inflatable collar, a frame fixed to the motor and collar, a swivel coupling on the frame, and a conduit for supplying fluid under pressure to the inflatable collar through the swivel coupling, is introduced into a pipe to be cleaned. The collar is inflated to fill the pipe cross-section. Fluid is then supplied under pressure into the pipe to propel the apparatus through the pipe and to actuate the motor thereby rotating the scouring head which scours the inner wall of the pipe.
