    摘要： A hole saw includes a shaft, a hole-cutter and an adjustable outer cutter unit. The shaft has a bottom coupling hole for receiving a pilot drill, a top coupling rod for fastening to a driving tool, and an outer thread extending around the periphery thereof. The hole-cutter has a top center inner thread threaded onto the outer thread of the shaft. The adjustable outer cutter unit has two locating rods perpendicularly affixed to the shaft at two sides in a line and two cutters respectively movably mounted on the locating rods, locked thereto with a respective lock screw and abutted against an outer periphery of said hole-cutter.

    摘要： A rotary cutting tool fed along its axis of rotation is used for cutting processes in which teeth of the tool do not continuously engage a workpiece, such as forming a cope. A cylindrical body of the tool is fluteless in order to keep the tool's cutting swath to a minimum thickness and thus reduce the cutting forces and heat generation from those of conventional annular metal cutters. Circumferential spacing of teeth about an annular end face of the body acts to contain material removed from the workpiece until reaching a portion of the tool's rotational path in which the workpiece is not engaged, at which point the material is freed from the tool to prevent jamming. An outer surface of the cylindrical body is continuous over a substantial majority of its length in order to ensure adequate tool strength.

    摘要： A combined masonry drill and metal hole-cutting saw. The masonry drill includes a drill head with diamond cutting teeth on one end. The metal saw is a circular hole-cutting saw mounted within the drill head. Means, including guide slots in the drill head and projections on a saw mounting member, are provided for locking the saw in a retracted position so that only the diamond cutting surface is exposed; and in an extended, operative position with the saw exposed. Fluid connections are made through the saw mounting to permit fluid flow through the drill head to the diamond cutter. A sealing member surrounds the drill head slots to prevent leakage of fluid.
