    摘要: A machine tool can perform a turning process using a fixed tool and a milling process using a rotating tool. The machine tool includes: a tool spindle having an air supply portion, for rotating the rotating tool; a lower tool rest for mounting a plurality of fixed tools thereon; a tool holder having a tapered surface restraining a tool, and attached to the lower tool rest, for detachably holding the tool; an automatic tool changer; and a special tool mounted on the tool spindle, into which the air is introduced from the air supply portion. When the tool is automatically changed by the automatic tool changer, the special tool mounted on the tool spindle is coupled to the tool holder, and the air from the air supply portion is supplied to the tapered surface through the special tool.

    摘要: In a method and a device for machining an elongate workpiece that is not rotationally symmetrical in the form of turbine blades, the workpiece is supported by a steady rest that has clamping elements for clamping the workpiece on the cross-section thereof that is not rotationally symmetrical. After clamping the workpiece, the steady rest moves with its open clamping elements along the longitudinal axis of the workpiece into a supporting position. During movement of the steady rest into the supporting position and/or while the supporting position of the steady rest is being changed, a collision between the open clamping elements of the steady rest and the workpiece is prevented by a program-controlled rotation of a rotary part of the steady rest.

    摘要: A processing mechanism for machining a workpiece includes a fixing base, a driving member, a connecting member, a cutter and a spring. The driving member is positioned above the fixing base. The connecting member is coupled to the driving member. One end of the cutter is fixed to the connecting member, and the cutter can be driven to pass through the fixing base to machine the workpiece positioned under the fixing base. The spring is positioned between the connecting member and the fixing base. The spring is compressed when the driving member drives the cutter away from the fixing base to machine the workpiece, and the spring under compression biases the cutter back toward the fixing base. The disclosure also supplies a processing device using the processing mechanism.

    摘要: A machining apparatus has a machine frame having a vertical front wall and a pair of vertical side walls extending generally perpendicularly rearwardly from the front wall and a cross slide vertically displaceable on the front wall. A first holder is horizontally displaceable on the cross slide, and respective carriages horizontally displaceable generally perpendicular to the front wall on the side walls carry a mount between and pivotal in the carriages about a horizontal axis generally parallel to the front wall. A second holder is carried on the mount. One of the holders is adapted to hold and rotate a workpiece and the other of the holders to hold a tool. A drive is connected to both of the carriages for synchronously displacing same and thereby aligning the workpiece in the one holder with the tool in the other holder.

    摘要: A machine tool having a turning function and a milling function includes a spindle, a spindle housing supporting the spindle in a rotatable manner, a main clamp provided at the spindle, an auxiliary clamp provided at the spindle housing, and a double arm with a first gripper and a second gripper. The auxiliary clamp clamps a tool holder together with the main clamp during fixing a fixed tool. The double arm exchanges a tool holder grasped at the first gripper for another tool holder grasped at the second gripper by rotating and sliding movements. The auxiliary clamp is arranged at a position not interfering with the double arm that moves during exchanging tool holders. By such a configuration, a machine tool achieving a clamping force sufficient to withstand the load during a turning process, and that allows tool exchange in a short period of time, and a tool holder employed in such a machine tool, can be provided.

When the positioning pin is inserted into the machining center, the locking mechanism allows the rotation of the tool holder body relative to the drive shaft.
