Abstract:
A machine tool capable of restraining dirt on the footstool and improving setup efficiency. The machine tool includes a machine body having a splash guard surrounding a machining area and a door capable of closing an opening of the splash guard. A footstool is kept mounted on the machine body changeably in place with respect to the machine body. The footstool kept mounted on the machine body is capable of being in a place on an outside of the machine body when the door is closed. The footstool kept mounted on the machine body is capable of being brought to a setup place inside the machining area from the outside of the machine body through the opening when the door is open.
Abstract:
A dust suppression assembly is to be fixed on a handheld device. The dust suppression assembly comprises a device interface member having a top end and a bottom end and an intermediate member having a first intermediate end and a second intermediate end, the first intermediate end adapted to be coupled with the bottom end of the device interface member. Further, the device interface member is having a first channel and the intermediate member is having a second channel, the first channel and second channel joins to form a passage for supplying water to the working end of the tool for suppression of dust, while the handheld device is in use.
Abstract:
A power tool including a power base and a tool head. The power base includes a trigger and a motor such that the trigger actuatable to drive the motor. The tool head is driven by the motor, and includes a lockout mechanism that inhibits actuation of the trigger in a locked. The lockout mechanism is manually rotatable from the locked position to an unlocked position in which the trigger is actuatable to drive the motor.
Abstract:
A machine tool, in particular an angle grinder, includes at least one switching unit that has at least one movably mounted ratchet element and at least one release element for unlocking a movement preventer of the ratchet element. The release element has at least one actuating region that is at least partially arranged laterally alongside an operating area of the ratchet element.
Abstract:
Woodworking machines and safety methods for use with those machines are disclosed. The machines include a detection system adapted to detect one or more dangerous conditions and a reaction system associated with the detection system. The reaction system can include an explosive to trigger the system, and also can be configured to retract a cutting tool at least partially away from a cutting region upon detection of a dangerous condition by the detection system.
Abstract:
A method is provided for controlling an electric hand-held power tool having a device housing and a coupling device on the device housing side for securing an auxiliary handle to the device housing. It is detected whether the auxiliary handle is secured to the device housing and/or whether the auxiliary handle is gripped by a user. In addition, the instantaneous operating state is ascertained and evaluated. A protective function is activated when the occurrence of a critical operating case is recognized during the evaluation of the instantaneous operating state. It is provided that the evaluation of the instantaneous operating state and/or the activation of the protective function is/are carried out as a function of whether the auxiliary handle is secured to the device housing and/or whether the auxiliary handle is gripped by the user.
Abstract:
In an apparatus for detecting tip-over of a rammer equipped with a crankcase accommodating an output shaft rotatably connected to an engine, a movable unit accommodating a converter mechanism for converting rotation of the output shaft to vertical motion of a movable member, a tamping shoe connected to the movable unit, and a handle operable by an user, and adapted to thrust upward in the gravitational direction by the vertical motion of the movable member and go into a free fall to compact a ground surface, it is determined whether a detected engine speed becomes equal to or smaller than a threshold value set lower than an engine idling speed when the engine has been operated at a rammer working speed set greater than the engine idling speed, and if it does, it is discriminated that the rammer has tipped over.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a saw blade comprising a plurality of teeth, each having a tooth tip. Each of the teeth is provided with first and second rake angles and first and second relief angles. The tooth tips of the teeth are located on different levels. The plurality of teeth may include a plurality of tooth groups in each of which some of the teeth are angularly set and others of the teeth are not angularly set.
Abstract:
A machine tool for machining workpieces formed of wood, synthetic plastic materials and the like is disclosed, including a transport device mounted on a frame for transporting the workpiece relative to at least one laterally arranged workpiece, and a sound damping cover unit arranged laterally of the tool for partially surrounding the round radiating region of the tool or the workpiece, characterized in that the sound damping cover unit includes a plurality of pivotally connected sound damping members that are displaceable between retracted position and extended positions above and/or below the plane of movement of the workpiece. One end of the damping cover unit is connected with a supporting frame that contains a receiving space for receiving the damping cover unit when in the retracted position. When in the extended position, the free end of the sound dampening cover unit extends above and/or below the workpiece and terminates adjacent the free end of a corresponding sound damping cover unit connected with the opposite side of the machine frame.
Abstract:
A wood working machine, particularly a planing machine, including a frame and, carried by the frame, a number of independent machine units or assemblies removably mounted in a compact array which facilitates enclosure of said array on all sides together with the frame in a sound attenuating and dust protecting housing. The wood working machine is of compact design, encapsulated in a sound attenuating and dust shielding housing and is equipped with tool units which are interchangeable and readily withdrawable and insertable again in the machine, said units including spindle units which by reason of the special ease of mounting them in and withdrawing them from a slide member housing associated with the respective tool unit, serve as "tool cartridges", while a slide housing constitutes "cartridge chambers" for said tool cartridges. In addition to the advantages gained by the unique construction of the tool units and the spindle units the machine provides exact adjustability with the use of small distributor gearings designed as units and driven by small servomotors and adapted to cooperate with numerical control systems of the machine for tool adjustment according to reference values obtained from the grinding chamber and operation of the machine according to supplied working programs.
