    摘要: A drilling device has a carriage (1) on which a drilling member (22) can be removably mounted. In a receiving region, the carriage (1) has a tightening lever (4) that can be swiveled, with its first end area having a tightening surface (5) that interacts with a clamping surface (21) of a connection region of the drilling member (22). The second end area of the tightening lever (4) interacts with a tightening element (9) that keeps the tightening lever (4) under tension of a spring so that the drilling member (22) is firmly pressed against the carriage (1). Using the two release levers (15), the tightening element (9) can be moved into a release position in which the tightening lever (4) can be swiveled into the release position and the tightening element (9) lies against a retention surface (13) on the tightening lever (4). When a drilling member (22) is secured on the carriage (1), the tightening lever (4) is automatically swiveled into a tightened position and locked the tightening element (9).

    摘要: An apparatus for allowing a craftsman to make uniform cuts in building material. The apparatus includes a hand-held electrically operated circular saw as well as a slide for guiding the building material in a first direction. First and second members are used for guiding the circular saw in a second direction. The craftsman is thereby able to repeatedly make uniform cuts in building material by manually sliding the building material on the slide and then moving one of the members in the second direction so as to cause the circular saw to cut the building material.

    摘要: An apparatus for supporting a machining tool on a robot arm is disclosed having first and second support members with the second support member attached to the first support member by torsion bar elements so as to be movable with respect to the first member about an axis in a single degree of freedom. The first support member is attached to the end of the robot arm and the machining tool is attached to the second support member.The torsion bar element interconnecting the first and second support members has end portions larger than a connecting portion extending between them. One end portion is fixedly attached to one of the support members and the other end portion is fixedly attached to the other support member. The torsion bar elements are generally cylindrical in configuration and are dimensioned such that the diameters of the end portions are between seven and ten times the diameter of the connecting portion. The torsion bar elements are located such that their longitudinal axes are coincident with the axis of movement of the second support member.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for positioning tooling (16, 16) with respect to an arc-shaped workpiece assembly (12) spaced radially away from a centerline (14). The apparatus includes axially spaced apart support arm assemblies (40, 42) which are swingable about the centerline. Each support arm is provided with a fixed portion (72) and a radially inwardly and outwardly movable portion (70), the movable portions of both arm assemblies being simultaneously movable under the control of a CNC controller (58). The ends of inner and outer beams (36, 38) are supported by the radially movable portion (70). Supported upon each of the inner and outer beams is a carriage assembly (32, 34) movable along the beam (36, 38). A head (28, 30) is supported upon each of the carriages, each head having a relatively stationary half (124) and a shiftable half (122), the shiftable half being mounted upon a track carried by the stationary half to provide for movement about a center point. In operation the beams will be swung to their desired position about the centerline, the carriages will be moved to their desired positions, at least one of the heads will be extended, and the tooling will be advanced towards the workpiece, all of this movement being controlled by the CNC controller. To permit loading of the apparatus, the inner beam may be split and shifted axially outwardly as the workpiece assembly is loaded.

    摘要: A drilling tool is adapted for incorporation into a riveting robot. For this purpose, the drilling tool with its spindle head is mounted on a slide that is motor driven for displacement in the Z-direction of an XYZ coordinate system. The slide in turn is mounted on a console provided with a flange to be secured or docked to the riveting robot. The console is rotatable about its longitudinal axis that extends perpendicularly to the drill spindle axis and intersects the latter approximately in the center of the spindle axis. The drill spindle is rotatably mounted in a spindle head and carries a drive wheel approximately in the center between the spindle ends. The drive wheel is meshing or cooperating with a power transmission train from a motor that is also secured to the slide and moves up and down with the slide and thus with the spindle head. Another motor drives the up and down movement of the spindle head. This type of arrangement permits positioning the drill bit in difficult locations. Overhead drilling, sideways drilling is possible in addition to the normal downward drilling.
