    摘要: One embodiment of an alignment apparatus for aligning an object, such as a tool or other implement, perpendicular with respect to a horizontal or a vertical target surface, comprises a three-axis accelerometer and at least two forward-facing distance sensors and a projection display comprising four addressable laser projectors. The accelerometer and distance sensor outputs are mapped to a predefined graphic symbol representing the orientation of the tool relative to the target surface, in particular when the tool is perpendicular to the target surface. The projection display projects the predefined symbol onto the target surface where it may be easily viewed by the tool operator allowing the operator to make any necessary corrections to the tool position.

    摘要: An adjustable stop tool has a rigid elongate body having a tool end, and a stop element slidably positioned on the rigid elongate body. The tool enables a method for positioning a segment of stock for machining and cutting, wherein the stop element is first locked on the rigid elongate body such that the stop element is separated from the tool end by a distance. A segment of the stock is then pulled out of the collet until the stock end is separated from the collet by more than the distance. The adjustable stop tool is then positioned against the stock and pushed towards the collet until the tool end abuts the collet.

    摘要: A motor spindle includes a spindle shaft for receiving a tool. The spindle shaft is accommodated in the housing of the motor spindle in a fixed bearing and a loose bearing. The received tool enters into contact with the machined workpiece in a tool interface when the spindle shaft is driven and the tool interface is displaced in an axial direction of the spindle shaft when a workpiece is machined. A displacement sensor is provided on the spindle bearing in order to determine the axial displacement of the tool interface. There is also a motor spindle including a spindle shaft for receiving a tool. The spindle shaft is accommodated in the housing of the motor spindle in a fixed bearing and in a loose bearing with an axially displaceable bearing bushing. The tool enters into contact with the machined workpiece at the tool interface when the spindle shaft is driven, and an adjusting element which is used to adjust the axial displacement of the bearing bushing of the motor spindle is also provided.

    摘要: The invention relates to a boring tool that includes a boring bar having a center axis which at a top portion of the bar is arranged to be connected to a machine tool, and which at a bottom portion of the bar along the center axis is slit into two legs. The two legs can be movable towards or away from each other, such as by means of an adjusting screw, for exact adjustment of the position of the cutting tool with relation to the center axis. The tool is arranged in such a way that a joint through bar is detachably attached to the bottom of each of the legs of the boring bar. This joint through bar extends essentially perpendicular to the slit and center axis, and enables a cutting tool to be provided at the end of the bar. Hereby an especially simple tool is obtained which can be adjusted extremely precisely for fine machining of holes.

    摘要: A boring tool head has a movable element which can be moved by means of an adjuster relative to a centerline. Attached to the movable element is a cutting tool which moves with the movable element. A hole which is slightly smaller in size than the desired hole is first bored with the boring tool head and its size precisely measured. The fitting of the invention is then clamped onto the boring tool head by means of a clamping lever. The fitting has a position sensor which abuts against the movable element of the boring tool head, an indicator being attached to the sensor which provides an indication of the sensor's lateral position. The indicator is set to zero and the boring tool head adjuster set to bring the movable element of the boring tool head, as indicated on the indicator, to the desired position for increasing the size of the initially bored hole to the desired precise dimension.

    摘要: A tool presetting device comprises a carrier device for rotatably holding a tool. The tool is received in a bearing bushing which defines a bearing axis and provides a rotationally symmetrical bearing surface wherein said tool is enabled to be rotated in a desired measuring and setting position. An air suspension can be built up for enabling rotation of the tool. To this end, a source of pressurized air is provided which enables a certain throughput of air. At least one air outlet opens at the bearing surface, while receiving pressurized air from the said source. A switching device either admits or prohibits access of pressurized air to the air outlet. A throttle valve is connected to the source of pressurized air for limiting the throughput of air.
