摘要： A process for making a holder for a scraper includes the step of providing a metal sheet. Then, the metal sheet is cut into a semi-product. The semi-product includes a transverse strip including at least one slit to provide at least one flip, a middle longitudinal strip extending from the transverse strip, and two longitudinal strips extending from the transverse strip. Then, the semi-product is pressed to bend the flip from the transverse strip and turn the slit into apertures. The flip is used as a lower jaw and other portions of the transverse strip are used as upper jaws.

摘要： A utility knife suitable for use both as a knife and a sheet cutter includes a casing for securing a blade having cutting edges on opposing sides. The casing includes a gathering finger extending from one side of the casing and spaced from a side of the casing to define a guideway leading to an exposed first edge of the blade for cutting sheet material. The finger is disposed in a spaced manner over the first edge of the blade to prevent inadvertent contact with the blade. A second opposite edge of the blade extends out of the opposite side of the casing to expose a forward portion of the blade for more conventional use as a knife. The blade is manually movable to a retracted portion wherein the blade's second edge is disposed within the casing.

摘要： A letter opener includes a main body, a fixing member and a blade. The main body has a cutting opening, a notch, and a trough communicating with the cutting opening and the notch. The fixing member is secured in the notch of the main body. The blade is connected to the fixing member and located in the trough. The blade is exposed in the cutting opening. Thereby, when the cutting edges of the blade are abraded, the blade can be replaced with a new one by disengaging the fixing member from the notch. It is only required to replace the blade, without throwing away the main body. The letter opener of the present invention is cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

摘要： A case knife (1, 101), generally consists of a pair of substantially symmetrical handle shells (13, 112). A single edge razor blade B is removably supported in one end of the handle formed by these handle shells. Each handle shell includes two moving parts—a guard (10, 110) and a thumb or finger operable button (5, 105). Each such guard, when paired with a substantially identical guard of the other handle half shell, flanks the otherwise protruding sharp edge of the razor blade. Each guard can move independently to expose a protruding corner of the razor blade. The operable button is mounted on an axle or lug (14, 103) that passes from the inside of a handle shell, through to its outside surface. This axle is in turn fixed to a cam follower (20, 120) mounted on the inside of each shell.

The protective cover comprises two substantially identical, complimentary cover parts. Each cover part comprises an injection-molded substantially rigid inner layer of thermoplastic material and a rubberized outer layer covering the rigid inner layer. The outer layer comprises a compatible, injection-molded thermoplastic rubber.

The tool includes an integral resilient member for maintaining the clamp closed whenever the tool is unlocked, such that the blade will be retained at all times, until the clamp is purposefully actuated by the user for installation or removal of the blade.
