摘要: An injection molding apparatus for forming a gasket around an edge of a glass is provided. The injection molding apparatus includes: an injection mold die; a fixing component, disposed inside the injection mold die and adapted for fixing the glass inside the injection mold die; a detection unit, mounted to the injection molding apparatus and adapted for detecting an image or vibration of the glass; a determination unit, coupled with the detection unit and adapted for determining whether the glass breaks based on a detection result of the detection unit. The apparatus can determine whether the glass breaks, such that the risk of scratching the injection mold die by glass breaking may be reduced. Therefore, the injection molding yield can be improved, the time for repairing the injection mold die may be reduced and a service life of the injection mold die may be prolonged.

摘要: The apparatus is intended for performing quality checks on preforms (10) each having a body made of plastics material having an internal cavity (12) communicating with the exterior through an end opening (14) of the body. The apparatus comprises: a conveyor device (20) for transporting the preforms (10) along a predetermined path, an optical device (22) disposed along the path and suitable for forming an image of each of the preforms (10), a pneumatic device (24) disposed along the path and suitable for putting the internal cavity (12) of each of the preforms (10) under partial vacuum for a predetermined period of time, an electronic control unit (28) suitable for comparing the images of the preforms (10) with a standard reference image and/or for checking whether the value of the partial vacuum remains unchanged during the said period of time, and a selector device (26) disposed along the path and capable of separating the preforms (10) on the basis of the result of the comparison and/or checking operations performed by the control unit (28).

摘要: For observing a flow of molten resin in an injection molding apparatus, a transparent cylinder, which is formed of transparent glass or transparent plastic material, is used in place of a mold of the apparatus. Because filling the transparent cylinder with the molten resin up to the cylinder's full capacity will burst the cylinder, the molten resin injection is terminated on the way when the injected molten resin has occupied a predetermined percentage, in a range of 50–90%, of the total volume of the cylinder, so that a burst of the cylinder can be avoided. The transparent cylinder provides for an increased resin-flow observation range because of its transparency, and can be less expensive because it is formed of inexpensive glass or plastic. As a consequence, there can be provided an efficient resin-flow observing experiment apparatus at lower cost.

摘要: The present invention replaces the multiple controller systems by incorporating the controller of sensory devices with the part-forming machine controller (typically a personal computer), thereby producing a synergistic combination. More specifically, sensory devices such as, for exemplary purposes only, cameras, infrared sensors, ultrasonic sensors, or other sensing devices are connected directly to one or more preexisting serial, parallel or USB ports or other bus interfaces of the machine controller. By programming the machine controller or loading software therein, the machine controller can receive the input signal(s)/data from the sensory device, analyze the data, provide an output signal to the sensory device and communicate directly and contemporaneously with the machine controller software.
