    摘要： A threaded mold decoupling system includes at least one unscrewing assembly rotatably coupled to a mounting plate and disposed in proximity to a threaded core of an injection mold, an elevator assembly having a first elevator element rotatably coupled to the mounting plate and a second elevator element connected to a fixed plate, the fixed plate opposing the mounting plate, and a driving assembly disposed in operative communication with the at least one unscrewing assembly and with the first elevator element of the elevator assembly. The driving assembly is configured to actuate the at least one unscrewing assembly to rotate a molded article about a longitudinal axis of the threaded core and actuate the first elevator element relative to the second elevator element to linearly translate the mounting plate relative to the fixed plate and to translate the molded article along the longitudinal axis of the threaded core.

    摘要： A mold for producing a product with internal flutes is provided. The mold includes a mold body that defines a cavity and a shaft in proximity to the cavity. A pin assembly is receivably engaged in the shaft of the mold body. The pin assembly includes a pin with a grooved portion that has at least one helically shaped groove, a sleeve surroundingly disposed about a portion of the pin, and means to allow rotation of the pin. A gap is defined in between a portion of the walls of the shaft of the mold body and the grooved portion of the pin and the gap is partially terminated by a portion of the sleeve. A method of molding is also provided.

    摘要： A quick connect coupler for connection to a stud includes a female coupler body having a plurality of balls in ball receiving bores which are advanceable into a stud bore in the female coupler for engaging a stud upon advancement of the stud into the stud bore. The balls are held in engagement with the stud by a locking collar having an annular groove. The female coupler is disengaged from the stud by pressurized air acting against a plunger mounted within the stud bore and connected to the locking collar to drive the locking collar forward such that the annular groove is advanced into alignment with the ball receiving bores in the female coupler body. A blocking sleeve is mounted on a plunger shaft and biased forward to slide across the ball receiving bores as the stud is withdrawn to hold the balls out of the stud bore.

    摘要： A die casting apparatus for casting an article with an internally screw-threaded bore. The die casting apparatus includes a support, a die assembly coupled to the support, a core pin with external threads which are movable into and out of the die assembly, a lead screw for moving the core pin, a fixed bushing threadedly receiving the lead screw therein, a drive assembly, and a control assembly. The drive assembly has a hydraulic motor with an ouptut shaft that is axially arranged relative to the core pin for smoothly driving the core pin and lead screw. The external threads of the core pin and the external thread of the lead screw are identical for driving the core pin and the lead screw at the same rate to avoid damaging the newly formed internal threads of the cast article.
