    摘要: A method for injection molding polyethylene terephthalate by employing a vent type injection unit as means for omitting preliminary drying the resin, wherein the unit does not develop a poor screw biting, and even when the molding material is an undried uncrystallized or crystallized PET, can feed a certain amount of the material at all times to injection mold a desired transparent molded form such as a preform, and use the preform to produce a thin-wall container at a low cost.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to an extruder including a casing which forms a cylindrical bore and a peripheral passage for a heating or cooling medium around the bore. A screw is mounted in the bore and axially fixed to the casing, but adapted to be rotated in the bore. The screw has a thread forming a spiral passage for rubber materials in the bore. A number of projections extend from the casing and into the spiral passage, and the thread is formed with notches for the projections to pass through as the screw rotates. A cylindrical sleeve is mounted within the casing and supports the projections. The casing and the sleeve are divided or split into at least two parts, and lock means is provided on the casing to lock the parts together during operation.

    摘要: The mixing element has a central hole for keying to the shaft of the screw and an outer profile which can be produced as a result of the removal of material from a circular element along at least one arc of its outer portion by cutting performed by a point-like element rotating around a circle with a diameter equal to that of the circular element. The point-like element and the circular element rotate in the same direction and at the same speed and the centers of the circular element and of the circle are spaced apart by a distance less than their diameter. During a portion of the cutting process, the distance between the centres of the circular element and of the circle is reduced so that the portion of the outer profile which is correspondingly cut is recessed.

    摘要: An extruder screw having a root, a helical primary flight on the root and a helical barrier flight on the root and forming with the primary flight a solids channel and a melt channel. The width of the solids channel gradually decreases and the width of the melt channel gradually increases along an upstream zone of the melting section. The width of the channels gradually changes in a downstream zone of the melting section but substantially less than in the upstream zone.
