摘要： A compacting system compacts particulate matter in open-top railroad gondola cars rolling on rails. The compacting system comprises a compacting station adjacent the rails and a scanning system that scans the gondola cars as they move along the rails toward the compacting station. The scanning system transmits data of the gondola car to an electronic control system. The compacting station has at least one compaction member, e.g., a plate structure or a roller, configured to contact an upper surface of the particulate matter in the gondola cars. The electronic control system controls the compacting station so that the compaction member engages with and applies force to the upper surface of the particulate matter in the gondola car so as to compress the particulate matter in the gondola. A method for compacting particulate matter in a gondola car is also shown.

摘要： A multiple press molding machine may include a plurality of guide shafts and a plurality of die units. Each of the die units includes a pair of dies, a plurality of guide holes and a plurality of bushes each having a through bore. Each of the bushes is positioned so as to surround at least one open peripheries of each of the guide holes. The guide shafts are respectively inserted into the guide holes of the die units and the through bores of the bushes, so that die closing and opening motion can be guided. The through bore of each of the bushes has an inner diameter smaller than a diameter of each of the guide holes.

摘要： A molding apparatus includes an upper mold tool having an upper-most mold half, a lower mold tool having a lowermost mold half, and an intermediate mold tool having a first auxiliary mold half cooperating with the uppermost mold half and a second auxiliary mold half cooperating with the lowermost mold half. In a first molding step, the intermediate mold tool is positioned between the upper and lower mold tools to form a first mold cavity between the upper and intermediate mold tools and a second mold cavity between the intermediate and lower mold tools. In this molding step upper and lower material layers are individually pre-molded in the two cavities. In a second molding step, the intermediate mold tool is moved laterally away, and the upper and lower mold tools are moved directly into molding cooperation with each other. Thereby, the separately pre-molded upper and lower material layers are brought together, laminated, bonded, and molded to produce a finished, two-layered molded component.
