    摘要: Disclosed is an automatic metal printer which prints a camera-photographed and computer-processed image on a surface of a hard material, such as a metal sheet, through a dot matrix printing type method wherein brightness of the printed image is expressed in accordance with density of dots in the dot matrix formed on the surface of the hard material. The automatic metal printer includes a platform which reciprocates forward and rearward in a lower portion of a body by a motor-operated first ball screw. A saddle is installed at a position above the platform so as to reciprocate to the left and right in the body by a motor-operated second ball screw. A dotter is vertically installed on the saddle so as to dot the upper surface of the hard material seated on the platform to print a desired image.

    摘要: A marking device for encoding metallic workpieces with two-dimensional matrix codes includes a striking tool for forming the code recesses, driven by an electromagnetic device. The driving movement is performed against the force of a return device. A positioning device displaceable on two axes (x, y) of a plane perpendicular to the striking direction (z) is used for positioning the striking tool in the desired code positions. An electronic control device for controlling movement of the striking tool includes means for presetting a higher current for the electromagnet device during a first acceleration phase of the striking tool and a lower current during a subsequent moving phase until the workpiece is impinged. In this manner, the precision of the code recesses in the workpiece can be exactly set or maintained, so that readability of the coding is substantially improved.

    摘要: A laser beam 7 from an engravement portion softening mechanism 6 of an apparatus is condensed onto an engravement portion on an engravement surface of a workpiece 1 for softening the engravement portion. When the hardness of the engravement portion is lowered, a pen tip 2 of the apparatus is applied to the engravement portion. Thus, it is possible to reduce reliably wear and damage of the pen tip 2 which results from engraving a hard workpiece, and to prolong the useful life of the pen tip 2, so that the durability and the reliability of the apparatus are improved.

    摘要: A workpiece which is to have a raised pattern applied to at least one surface thereof is positioned in the apparatus between a support member and a die member, the surface of the die member being a reverse image of the desired pattern. While the die member and workpiece are held in contact by a static force, highfrequency vibrations are applied to impress the pattern on at least one surface of the workpiece. Several alternate embodiments involve rotating dies or relative movement between the source of vibrations and the die and workpiece in a plane perpendicular to the direction of the high-frequency vibrations.
