Abstract:
An image transfer sheet for producing a temporary tattoo having a base release sheet upon which a tattoo image is formed. The tattoo image comprising an image layer composed of a permanent adhesive and a water soluble adhesive having one or more inks integrated therewith. Wherein, after the tattoo image has been applied to a user and then subjected to water, the water soluble adhesive breaks apart and the permanent adhesive no longer has the ability to bond thereby allowing the tattoo image to easily be removed from the user.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and method for transferring an impression from a substrate to a surface comprising a surface coated with first layer of release agent; either a second layer of polyvinyl acetate; and a third layer of mixture of acrylamide and styrene acetate or a single layer of mixture of polyvinyl acetate, acrylamide and styrene acetate; and having the impression to be transferred thereon, and a method of making the aforesaid device and transferring an impression from a substrate to a surface.
Abstract:
Forming a film by means of water-pressure transfer is subject to wrinkling and other problems. Accordingly, provided is a pressurization transfer film constituted by a support layer, water-soluble resin layer, and ink layer stacked on top of each other in this order, wherein a concave-convex surface is formed on the ink layer side of the water-soluble resin layer.
Abstract:
An image transfer sheet (1) includes a support having water permeability, and a releasing layer, an adhesive layer, and an image transfer layer which are overlaid in this order on the support, the surface of the adhesive layer having an inclined-type ball tack value of 6 or less as measured in accordance with a procedure defined in Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) Z 0237 when the image transfer sheet is immersed in water and the support is peeled away therefrom, and an image transfer sheet (2) includes a support having water permeability, and a releasing layer, an adhesive layer comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive material, and an image transfer layer which are overlaid in this order on the support, the pressure-sensitive adhesive material having an inclined-type ball tack value of 11 or less as measured in accordance with a procedure defined in Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) Z 0237. An image formation method and an image transfer method, using any of these image transfer sheets are provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a transferable paint film which has a silicone layer serving as a separating layer, said silicone layer being highly cross-linked and of the alkenyl-group-containing polyaddition type and including an adhesive layer as well as a paint layer. The paint layer can be peeled off along with the adhesive layer by hand, and stuck on a surface to be treated with paint.
Abstract:
Provided are a transfer-type decorative sheet and a method of manufacturing a transfer-type decorative sheet, the transfer-type decorative sheet including a decorative layer that has excellent peelability from a temporary support and excellent glossiness in case of being seen from an oblique direction. The transfer-type decorative sheet includes: a temporary support; an underlayer that is peelable from and disposed on one surface of the temporary support; and a decorative layer that is disposed on the underlayer, in which the decorative layer includes at least one cholesteric liquid crystal layer, the underlayer is a layer that is formed of a composition including a monomer having one or two polymerizable groups, and a water contact angle of the underlayer is 50° or more.
Abstract:
A patterned pressure-sensitive adhesive body obtained by a method for producing a patterned pressure-sensitive adhesive body including a pattern forming step of cutting a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in a pressure-sensitive adhesive film including a first release film and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer laminated on one surface of the first release film so as to form a first slit in a pattern shape and an outer frame forming step of cutting the first release film and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer so as to form a second slit in an outer frame shape surrounding the pattern shape, wherein the second slit has a discontinuous portion in a cutting direction.
Abstract:
A decorative dry color laminate includes a dry color layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side of the dry color layer, and a carrier in releasable contact with the dry color layer on a side opposite from the pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). In use, the adhesive layer adheres the dry color laminate to the surface under application of pressure, and the carrier is peeled away to expose the dry color layer. Methods for providing a substantially permanent color effect on an architectural surface comprise delivering such an article to the architectural surface.
Abstract:
A decorative dry paint transfer laminate includes a layer of dry paint, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side of the dry paint layer, and a release liner in releasable contact with the dry paint layer on a side opposite from the pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). The release liner has a matte release coat layer that contacts the dry paint layer. The release liner is released from the dry paint layer after the PSA side is attached to a surface. The matte release coat adheres to the dry paint layer to provide a protective function but also to transfer a decorative matte finish to the dry paint layer when the release liner is removed from it. The laminate includes a barrier layer to protect against significant discoloration of the color in the dry paint layer caused by migration of mono azo pigments from a painted surface.
