摘要: The teachings herein are directed to multi-layered articles, methods for making the multi-layered articles, and polymeric compositions for the multi-layered articles. The multi-layered article includes a substrate layer and a cover layer. The substrate layer preferably is a polymeric composition including a polycarbonate, a styrene containing polymer and an acicular filler. The substrate preferably forms a durable bond to the cover layer that maintains adhesion even after heat and climate aging.

摘要: Hot melt adhesives with pressure sensitive adhesive properties for electronic devices are described. The hot melt adhesive comprises a styrenic block copolymer with fully hydrogenated and saturated soft blocks, a liquid diluent or a tackifier, a (meth)acrylate monomer or an oligomer having at least two (meth)acrylic functionalities per oligomer chain, and an initiator. The hot melt adhesive is also a reworkable UV curable optically clear adhesive film. The adhesive and film are suitable as a laminating PSA film or encapsulant for LCD display, LED display, touch screen, and flexible thin film photovoltaic module.

摘要: A glass laminate includes a non-glass substrate with a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. A glass sheet is laminated to the first surface of the non-glass substrate. A barrier film is laminated to the second surface of the non-glass substrate and includes a first surface adjacent to the non-glass substrate, a second surface opposite the first surface. A thickness of the barrier film can be at most about 0.5 mm. The second surface of the barrier film can define an outer surface of the glass laminate. The barrier film can be a multi-layer barrier film with a metal layer and a polymer layer. An absolute value of a flatness of the glass laminate determined according to European Standard EN 438 after exposure to 23° C. and 90% relative humidity for 7 days can be at most about 3 mm/m.

摘要: A battery packaging material includes a laminate that includes at least a base material layer, a metal layer, an insulating layer, and a sealant layer laminated in this order. The insulating layer is formed of a resin composition containing a modified polyolefin resin modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or acid anhydride thereof and has a hardness, when measured by using a nanoindenter and pressing an indenter 5 μm into the insulating layer from a cross-section of the laminate in the laminating direction thereof, that ranges from 10 MPa to 300 MPa. In the sealant layer, an elastic modulus, when measured by using a nanoindenter and pressing an indenter 5 μm into the sealant layer from a cross-section of the laminate in the laminating direction thereof, ranges from 100 MPa to 1000 MPa.

摘要: A method for producing a device substrate by obtaining a laminate comprising a carrier substrate, a first polyimide film comprising a first polyimide resin disposed on at least one surface of the carrier substrate, a second polyimide film disposed on the first polyimide film opposite to the surface of the first polyimide film formed on a surface of the carrier substrate; applying a physical stimulus to the second polyimide film without causing chemical changes in the first polyimide film such that the cross-sections of the second polyimide film are exposed and cross-sectional surfaces of the first polyimide film are not exposed and no physical stimulus is applied to the surface of the carrier substrate, wherein the adhesive strength of the first polyimide to the second polyimide film decreases when the second polyimide film in the laminate is cut to expose cross-sectional surfaces of the second polyimide film; and separating the second polyimide film from the first polyimide film formed on the carrier substrate to obtain the device.

摘要: A deep-drawable and heat-shrinkable film based on a coextruded multi-layer film is provided having improved deep drawability and good oxygen and water vapour barrier properties. The multi-layer film is made up of at least nine layers which, from outer to inner layer, have the following structure: 60-40 vol % polyamide (PA), 40-60 vol % amorphous polyamide (aPA)//100 vol % adhesion-promoting agent//100 vol % partially neutralised ethylene (meth)acrylic acid copolymer (ionomer)//100 vol % adhesion-promoting agent//60-40 vol % polyamide (PA), 40-60 vol % amorphous polyamide (aPA)//100 vol % ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH)//60-40 vol % polyamide (PA), 40-60 vol % amorphous polyamide (aPA)//100 vol % adhesion-promoting agent//70-40 vol % low density polyethylene (LDPE), 30-60 vol % linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE). The films are produced on a blown-film extrusion line with three bubbles.
