Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprising a belt formed of two inclined belt layers formed of a rubberized layer of cords extending in a manner inclined with respect to a tire circumferential direction, the cords crossing each other between the layers, wherein: the two inclined belt layers have different tire widthwise widths W1 (mm) and W2 (mm); a ratio W2/W1 satisfies a relation expression 0.25≦(W2/W1)≦0.8; a tire radial outer side of the belt further includes a reinforcing belt formed of one or more circumferential belt layers formed of a rubberized layer of cords extending along the tire circumferential direction; and a circumferential rigidity of the reinforcing belt in a tire widthwise region between an end of the one inclined belt layer and an end of the other inclined belt layer is higher than a circumferential rigidity of the reinforcing belt in a tire widthwise inner side of the region.

Abstract: To reduce noise while suppressing increase in rolling resistance, without affecting the formation of a carcass line, provided is a pneumatic tire (10) including: a carcass (13); an inclined belt (14), and an inner liner (17). The inclined belt (14) is disposed on the tire radial outer side of the crown portion of the carcass (13). The inclined belt (14) includes at least one inclined belt layer (16). The inclined belt layer (16) has cords extending as being inclined at 35″ or more with respect to the tire circumferential direction. The inner liner (17) has a thickness of 1.5 mm or more at least in part of a side portion (19).

Abstract: The pneumatic tire of the present technology includes: a tread portion; sidewall portions; and bead portions. A pattern of grooves is formed on the tread portion, and a strip-shaped sound-absorbing member is bonded along the tire circumferential direction to a region of the tire inner surface corresponding to the tread portion via an adhesive layer. A first ground contact region is defined between the tire ground contact edge on one side in the tire width direction and the tire equatorial plane, and a second ground contact region is defined between the tire ground contact edge on the other side in the tire width direction and the tire equatorial plane. The sound-absorbing member is offset with respect to the tire width direction so that the centroid of a cross-section of the sound-absorbing member in a plane that includes a tire axis is located within the first ground contact region.

The circumferential belt includes a high rigidity region across the tire equator wherein the circumferential rigidity per unit width is higher at any location thereof than at any location in the remaining regions. The circumferential rigidity per unit width in the remaining regions is constant in the tire width direction or increases toward the high rigidity region.
