    摘要: An electric vehicle includes a reconfigurable energy storage system with a first submodule and a second submodule. An interface circuit is operable to transfer a charging power to the reconfigurable energy storage system from a charging station that is external to the electric vehicle. A switching circuit is operable to electrically arrange the first submodule and the second submodule in series or in parallel. A diode is operable to convey the charging power between the first submodule and the second submodule while the reconfigurable energy storage system is arranged in series and the charging power is present. A bias circuit is operable to maintain a reverse bias across the diode while the reconfigurable energy storage system is arranged in series and the charging power is absent.

Each of the battery cells includes a transformer forming unit constituted by a first inductor, a second inductor, a first core member, and a second core member, and which is capable of forming a transformer between itself and an adjacent battery cell, and a potential detection unit that detects the potential of the battery cell. A control unit compares the potentials of the adjacent battery cells based on measurement results of a potential detection unit. Furthermore, the control unit performs an equalization control to equalize the potentials of the plurality of battery cells, by supplying electrical charge from the battery cell having a higher potential to the battery cell having a lower potential.

    摘要: A method is provided for controlling a battery unit of a motor vehicle. The battery unit is configured to provide electrical energy to an electric drivetrain (M) of the motor vehicle, and the electric drivetrain (M) is configured to drive the motor vehicle. The battery unit has a plurality of battery modules (U1, U2, UN, V1, V2, VN, W1, W2; WN). The method comprises: monitoring whether the battery unit is in a powered-off state; measuring a period of time during which the battery unit is in the powered-off state; and transitioning the battery unit from the powered-off state into a powered-on state when the period of time exceeds a time threshold. The battery modules (U1, U2, UN, V1, V2, VN, W1, W2; WN) are connected electrically in parallel to one another in the powered-on state.
