Abstract: A personal watercraft has a hull, a deck, a motor, a motor control unit operatively connected to the motor for controlling at least one parameter associated with the motor, a seat assembly including a seat portion selectively connected to the deck, and a raised seating system including a seat support selectively connected to the deck for selectively supporting the seat portion above the deck. A sensor is connected to at least one of the hull and the deck and is communicating with the motor control unit. In response to the seat support being connected to the deck, the sensor detects a presence of the seat support, and in response to the sensor detecting the presence of the seat support, the motor control unit limits at least one of the at least one parameter associated with the motor. A method for adjusting performance of a personal watercraft is also provided.

Abstract: In order to suppress a claustrophobic feeling that a person sitting on a rear seat receives due to a front seat, and to make the front seat easy to use as an ottoman by the person, a movement adjustment system is used for a passenger seat and a rear seat, and includes a slide rail for moving the rear seat in the front to back direction, and a control part for changing the movement region of the rear seat by the slide rail. The passenger seat has a seat cushion, and a seat back mounted to be changeable between an upright state and a lowered state with respect to the seat cushion. The control part changes the movement region so that the passenger seat and the rear seat can come closer when the seat back of the passenger seat is in the lowered state than in the upright state.

Abstract: A deployable working surface is provided for use in a reconfigurable passenger cabin of a personal automotive vehicle. The vehicle includes a first seat that can rotate to an inwardly-rotated position. The working surface is provided by a panel that is mounted on a second seat for movement between a stowed position and a working position. This movement includes vertical movement and rotational movement about a vertical axis. When the panel is in the working position, the working surface extends in a radial direction that is perpendicular to the direction the first seat is facing when in the rotated position and is positioned higher that an occupant seating surface of the first seat and in front of a backrest of the first seat.
