    摘要: In a vehicle in which side covers are disposed at the underfloor sides of a vehicle body, a totally enclosed main motor is disposed outside a frame of a chassis. The totally enclosed main motor includes an outside air ventilating flue through which the outside air is suctioned from a suction inlet, circulated and then exhausted from an exhaust outlet. The totally enclosed main motor uses the outside air ventilating flue to release heat generated internally to the outside. One end of a ventilating duct is connected to the suction inlet and the other end opens toward the outside of the vehicle at the side covers. With this, it is possible to supply the outside air from the outside of the vehicle thereby enhancing the cooling efficiency. Moreover, it is possible to use the totally enclosed main motor of a high capacity by disposing outside the frame of the chassis.

According to the present invention, a wheel-carrying frame (1) with contact surfaces (14) for the primary spring system surrounds the two wheels (2) from the outside; the driven interface (3) of the cardanic double coupling is arranged on the inner side of the wheel and the drive interface of the cardanic double coupling is arranged outside the wheel-carrying frame. The cardan shaft (5) provides a connection between the drive interface and the driven interface (3) and is led through a central opening of the wheel (2) and of the wheel-carrying frame (1).

    摘要: In a propulsion unit for the driven axles of an electrically-powered rail vehicle, the torque of an electric propulsion motor is transmitted to the respective driven axle by way of a torque transmitting mechanism including gears and couplings. A common housing in the form of a hollow beam is used to enclose the propulsion motor, a bearing system, and a transmission. Cut-outs are provided in the sides of the housing to allow space for the driven axles. In order to increase the flexural and torsional stiffness of the propulsion unit, the hollow beam includes an annular end surface through which the propulsion motor and torque transmitting apparatus are inserted. The hollow beam not only forms a common housing or the propulsion components, but is a very stiff support element that reduces vibration and improves the running behavior of the propulsion unit.
