    Abstract: Disclosed is a mobile instrument assembly comprising: a housing for accommodating one or more components of an instrument; one or more wheels for mobility of the instrument assembly; and a mounting assembly comprising: a support plate that is moveable with respect to the housing between retracted position and one or more extracted positions and that comprises, in its distal end, a pair of protrusions projecting from a surface of the support plate, wherein in the retracted position the support plate is substantially unexposed from the housing, and in each of the one or more extracted positions the support plate extends from the housing to respective extent such that perimeter of the housing and the pair of protrusions define a circular area of respective predefined diameter to allow for mounting a pressure vessel of corresponding size on the support plate between the perimeter of the housing and the pair of protrusions.

    Abstract: A hand truck includes a quick release/attach mechanism operating according to a method for quickly and easily exchanging various tools with the hand truck, the quick release/latch mechanism including biased locking pins movably located within tubular frame members integral to the hand truck and proximal holes in the tubular frame members for receiving a projection member of the tool and spaced a predetermined distance from a hangar portion of the tool and wherein the hangar portion may be hung on a crossbar of the tubular frame and then the projection members of the tool may be coupled with and retained by the locking pins of the tubular frame. The arrangement requires no hand tools such as wrenches or screwdrivers, and no external fasteners such as pins or bolts. The geometry of the cross bars on the hand truck allow tool attachments to be captured or releases simply by tilting the hand truck forward or backward. The tool attachments are then locked to the truck by means of locking rods and pins that operate inside the two main tubes of the hand truck.

    Abstract: A stable stand or cart for one or more gas cylinders includes a T-shaped base assembly having a forwardly extending base member and a lower rear cross member with three casters fixed to a lower surface thereof. An upwardly extending frame includes two upwardly extending telescoping tubes and an upper cross member fixed to the tubes. An upper and a lower C-shaped support member are fixed to the upwardly extending frame and a clamp is provided to fix the distance between the C-shaped support members. The stand or cart also includes a first flexible belt, four guide members, and a central positioning member for positioning the central positioning member for different size gas cylinders. A second flexible belt extends from the central positioning member around the gas cylinder or cylinders to hold the cylinder or cylinders to the stand or cart.
