Abstract:
A method of, and apparatus for, handling a first die unit usable on a sheet extrusion system. The method includes the steps of: obtaining a carriage; placing the first die unit in a supported staging position on the carriage, the carriage configured so that with the first die unit in the supported staging position the first die unit can be moved guidingly around an axis; with the first die unit in the supported staging position, moving the first die unit guidingly around the axis to a desired angular orientation to thereby facilitate access to one or more identified regions of the first die unit; and performing an operation at the one or more identified regions of the first die unit.
Abstract:
Apparatus for moving different movable loads. The apparatus includes channels that can be engaged by a fork lift, pallet jack, or other powered mover. The apparatus also includes a mounting plate disposed between the channels. The mounting plate includes a receiver channel. The apparatus includes a plurality of load support tools that can selectively engage the receiver channel. The load support tools include different respective end effectors. A load can be engaged with the end effector of a selected load support tool such that the apparatus can move the load.

Abstract:
Scaffolding transport carts for transporting scaffolding components from a jobsite delivery location to the location of scaffolding erection. Exemplary scaffolding transport cart embodiments may be moved and guided manually, or moved under the power of a motive device but under user control. A fully remote-controlled embodiment may also be provided. In any case, a scaffolding transport cart embodiment may dimensioned such that the scaffolding transport cart can fit through a standard doorway, even when loaded with scaffolding components.
Abstract:
A selectively extendable length trolley for supporting and conveying various sized and configured containers for pieces or components in an industrial plant. The trolley includes an adjustable length trolley structure, front and rear adjustable frames and locating supports for the containers that include side supports adjustable in position in a transverse direction, orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (L). A steering control unit (2) of the trolley (1) is articulated to the front frame (32) and operates in such a way that the front wheel unit and the rear wheel unit are made to oscillate in opposite directions to keep the wheels aligned with the curved path to be followed. In a preferred embodiment, the front and rear adjustable frames are T-shaped providing an open or free space at the two sides of the central structure of the trolley.
Abstract:
A lug cart and support table assembly is disclosed comprising a support table having an upper support surface for supporting a breading machine. A lug tub-shaped lug located in the lug cart and a latching system affixed to the lug cart to removably attach the lug cart to a selected one of a front side and a rear side of the table assembly. The latching system includes a first latch assembly and a second latch assembly affixed to an end of the cart in spaced apart relation, each of the first and second latch assemblies includes a support body, a pivoting arm coupled to the support body and pivoting in a horizontal plane about a vertical axis between a locking position and a release position.
Abstract:
A wheeled cart for carrying a tool is provided. This wheeled card is suitable for carrying tools having a plate base, such as vibrating plate compactors. The wheeled cart comprises a platform on which the tool is laid down, a wheel assembly connected to the platform, and at least one adjustable attach member to removably attach the tool to the platform. The attach member comprises a vertical projecting member extending generally upwardly from the platform and a right-angle bracket. The bracket is removably fastenable to the vertical projecting member at a plurality of longitudinal positions therealong, to adjust to different sizes of tools being transported by the cart.
Abstract:
A portable power lifting device includes a frame, an electromechanical linear actuator and two wheels. The frame includes a base portion, a support post portion and a lifting arm. The support post portion is attached to the base portion at a first support post end. The lifting arm is slidably coupled to the support post portion. The electromechanical linear actuator has a first end coupled to the lifting arm and a second end coupled to a second support post end. The wheels are attached to the base portion of the frame. The lifting device is powered by a battery electrically connected to an electric motor of the linear actuator through a switch electrically connected between the battery and the electric motor. The lifting arm includes a pair of hook members extending therefrom. The wheels are attached to the frame via caster swivels. An adjustable stabilizer bar is slidably coupled to the lifting arm.
Abstract:
A dolly for moving heavy objects and alternatively for holding heavy objects in a static position. The dolly has a U-shaped frame with rollers for supporting and moving a heavy object. In an alternate position, the frame blocks the movement of the heavy object.
Abstract:
A load lifting and transporting apparatus comprises a pair of coacting units each having an upright main frame and a lifting or carriage frame. Hydraulic jacks on the two units of the apparatus raise and lower the carriage frame. The units have swiveled casters which may be locked in rigid positions. Ratchet controlled belts on the units are capable of encircling the load in two directions for safety and stability, and in another mode of use the two units may be rigidly coupled by connecting bars. The two units may be employed as a scaffold or table and a single unit of the apparatus is capable of forming a stable hand truck with load lifting capacity.
