    摘要： A side lock apparatus includes: a housing which is fixed to a lid; a disc-shaped rotor which is supported on the housing; and rods which are linked with the rotor, wherein: the housing includes: a bearing portion for the rotor which is provided in such a manner as to extend vertically along the short upper portion of the lid; a first wall; a second wall; and a cylindrical portion which is brought into sliding contact with a disc-shaped outer circumferential surface of the rotor to support the rotor; the rotor is supported on the bearing portion in such a manner that the disc shape thereof becomes horizontal relative to a wall thickness direction of the short upper portion of the lid; and the rods are supported between the first wall and the second wall in such a manner as to slide in an opposite direction.

    摘要： A latch and keeper combination is utilized for securing a radome to an aircraft fuselage. The keeper has a keeper housing and an eyebolt member which extends toward the latch from the keeper housing. The latch has a pivoting handle member pivotally attached to a latch housing. A hook member depends from the handle member. Once the hook member is generally placed about the eye bolt, depressing the handle member further causes the hook to rotate within the latch housing. As the handle member is completely depressed, the hook member fully engages the eye bolt, while at the same time members axially extend from the latch to engage the keeper which provides a resistance to shear between the latch and keeper. The apparatus may also have a safety which prevents the handle from fully closing until the eye bolt is fully engaged by the hook member, thereby providing visual confirmation that the latch has completely engaged the keeper.

    摘要： An oven door lock rotates the latch arm so the latch arm is not exposed outside the oven frame when the lock is in the unlocked position. The oven door lock includes a mounting plate having a stop and a latch opening, a balance arm coupled to the mounting plate for pivoting and sliding motion, one end of the balance arm engaging the stop on the mounting plate at one end of its pivoting and sliding motion, a latch arm coupled to the balance arm for pivoting motion with respect to the balance arm, an actuator mounted to the mounting plate, a cam having a mounting hub at its center and an offset hub displaced from the mounting hub, the mounting hub of the cam being coupled to the actuator so the actuator rotates the cam with respect to the mounting plate, a directional link coupled to the offset hub of the cam and to the latch arm, the directional link pivoting and sliding the balance arm towards and away from the stop on the mounting plate during a complete revolution of the cam to move the balance arm and latch arm during the pivoting and sliding motion of the balance arm and to rotate the latch arm past an edge of the latch opening of the mounting plate as the balance arm engages the stop on the mounting plate.

The latch assembly includes first and second latch arms and an actuator. The actuator is slidably secured to the latch housing and operable to engage the latch arms' actuated ends so as to pivot the latching ends out of engagement with the catch housing and thereby permit the latch housing and the window associated therewith to move relative to the fixed member.

    摘要： The present disclosure envisions an externally controllable adjustment assembly which is carried on the bolt of a latch assembly. The externally controllable adjustment assembly is generally flush-mounted relative to the exterior surfaces of a corresponding panel and structure. A small access opening is provided to access the adjustment assembly so as to help maintain the aerodynamic design of the latch. The externally controllable adjustment assembly includes an adjuster which works with an adjuster body. An external force is applied by the adjuster to one end of the adjuster body to transfer forces to a plunger positioned at the opposite end of the adjuster body. Adjustment of the plunger helps to adjust the latching force of the latch on the structure. The present disclosure allows for controllable external adjustment as well as controllable preloading of the forces on the latch. The adjuster can be controllably preloaded by using a torque-wrench or torque measuring device to make adjustments to a desired level of force.

    摘要： A motorized door latch assembly for locking an oven door in a locked and sealed position for purposes of cleaning the oven. A motor and cam cause a latch rod extending from front to back to translate, causing a latch plate to move between three different positions. In one position the latch plate prevents the oven door from opening. In another position the latch plate is pulled inwardly so the oven door is in a locked and sealed position. In its locked and sealed position the door may be opened by biasing the latch plate against the bias of a biaser extending between a fixed location on a mounting plate and a fixed location on the latch plate.
