Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pallet transportation assembly comprising a first tine, a second tine, and a body coupled to the first and second tines comprising a tine adjustment system, a wheel, and a vertical backing portion, wherein the first or second tine further comprises a riser hinged to the first or second tine.
Abstract:
In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, a side loading attachment (20) for use with a forklift truck (50) comprises a guide frame (22) secured to the front of the forklift truck (50). A sliding bracket (23) is slidably mounted to the guide frame (22). The sliding bracket (23) is holding a support arm (28) which in turn holds a rotatable carriage (70) pivotally mounted to the support arm (28). The rotatable carriage (70) holds a couple of load forks (40) to deposit and retrieve a load (60) to either side of the forklift truck (50) in a narrow aisle.
Abstract:
A material handling vehicle including a truck body and a fork assembly adjacent the truck body. A link arm extending between the truck body and the fork assembly has a proximal end and a distal end. A first pivot pin is fixed to the body and pivotally links the proximal end of the link arm to the body. A second pivot pin is fixed to the fork assembly and pivotally links the distal end of the link arm to the fork assembly. At least one of the first and second pivot pins includes an eccentric body interposed between ends. The eccentric body defines a first axis, and the ends define a second axis, wherein the link arm pivots about the first axis and rotation of the pivot pin about the second axis moves the first axis relative to the truck body to change the position of the fork assembly relative to the truck body.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pallet transportation assembly comprising a first and second tine, each having a top, a bottom, a front wheel, a middle wheel, a rear wheel, and a riser; and a body coupled to the first and second tines comprising a tine adjustment system and a vertical backing portion.
Abstract:
A lift indicator assembly for a pallet truck includes a lift sensor assembly, and a lift status display for determining a lift condition of a load wheel of the pallet truck. The lift sensor assembly is to be carried by a fork of the pallet truck and includes a housing section, and a primary sensor assembly. The primary sensor assembly includes a first primary arm coupled to the housing section, and a first primary contact switch carried by the housing section and adjacent the first primary arm. The first primary contact switch has an engaged position and a disengaged position based on position of the first primary arm. The lift status display determines the lift condition of the load wheel based on position of the first primary contact switch.

Abstract:
A hand cart includes an upright frame and a metal toe plate with a peripheral edge. The toe plate is slightly canted toward the ground when the cart is in a free-standing upright orientation. An extension unit slides onto the toe plate. The extension unit is canted slightly toward the ground when the cart is in a free-standing upright orientation. The extension unit include a plate and a strap. The plate is on top of the toe plate. The strap extends from the plate and down and beneath the toe plate. A fastener extends laterally from the toe plate and through the extension unit. The fastener secures the extension unit on the toe plates, generates a tensile force acting to displace the extension unit away from the peripheral edge of the toe plate, and generates compressive force which presses the extension unit against the toe plate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pallet truck for substantially horizontal displacement of goods, comprising: a displaceable frame; at least one elongate fork connected to the frame for carrying the goods, wherein the fork is provided with a support wheel at a distance from the frame, and wherein the fork can be selectively extended in longitudinal direction via an extending mechanism. The invention also relates to a system for extending a carrying part of a pallet truck, comprising: at least one elongate fork connectable to a frame for carrying the goods, wherein the fork is provided with a support wheel at a distance from the frame, and wherein the fork can be selectively extended in longitudinal direction via an extending mechanism. The invention finally relates to a method for use and/or control of a pallet truck and/or system.
Abstract:
A loading frame includes a rectangular u-shaped frame with an opening at one side, forks extendable and retractable between the closed side and the open side of the U-shaped frame, loading frame wheels on one arm of the U-shaped frame, and a truck interface on the other arm of the U-shaped frame. The loading frame wheels and truck interface support travel of the frame in a direction other than the direction of travel of the forks between the open and closed sides of the U-shaped frame.
