摘要： A power detection device for bicycles is disclosed, which comprises at least one sprocket, a sprocket base, a strain gauge, a signal processing circuit, and a wireless signal transmitting circuit, wherein the sprocket base is engaged with the sprocket, and the strain gauge is embedded in the sprocket base. The signal processing circuit is electrically connected to the strain gauge, and the wireless signal transmitting circuit is electrically connected to the signal processing circuit. The wireless signal transmitting circuit receives an electrical signal outputted by the signal processing circuit, converts it into a wireless signal, and then sends out the wireless signal. Whereby, the strain gauge can be hidden and effectively secured.

摘要： A bicycle rear derailleur includes a base member mountable to a bicycle frame. A movable member is movably coupled to the base member. A chain guide assembly is rotatably connected to the movable member for rotation about a rotation axis. A biasing element is configured to bias the chain guide assembly for rotation in a first rotational direction with respect to the movable member. A damper assembly is operatively disposed between the chain guide assembly and the movable member to apply a damping force to the chain guide assembly when the chain guide assembly rotates in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction. The damper assembly includes a one-way roller clutch assembly disposed coaxially about the rotational axis and a friction unit extending circumferentially over a circumferential angle coaxially about the rotational axis.

摘要： A transmission casing for a bicycle has sufficient strength and rigidity and has a simple structure while being capable of hermetically sealing a transmission body of the bicycle. In a transmission casing for a bicycle is covered with a casing and a plurality of transmission shafts supported by the casing. The transmission casing includes a light-metal-made reinforcing member made of aluminum, a light alloy or the like which supports shaft portions of the plurality of transmission shafts, and a fiber-reinforced-plastic-made cover member which is integrally laminated to an inner surface of the light-metal-made reinforcing member so as to hermetically seal the transmission body. The light-metal-made reinforcing member has a strength necessary for supporting the plurality of transmission shafts, and the fiber-reinforced-plastic-made cover member has a residual rigidity by subtracting rigidity obtained by the metal-made-reinforcing member from the rigidity necessary for preventing the deformation of the whole casing.

摘要： A rotation direction detection apparatus is configured to detect the direction of rotation of a pulley that is rotatably mounted to a chain guide, and includes a rotation sensor, a detection element and a shielding mechanism. The rotation sensor is fixed to the chain guide. The detection element is mounted to the pulley such that it can be detected by the rotation sensor. The shielding mechanism has a shielding arm that is mounted to move between a shielding position where the rotation sensor cannot detect the detection element and a detection position where the rotation sensor can detect the detection element. The shielding mechanism has a linking member that moves the shielding arm in tandem with the rotation of the pulley in first or second rotational directions. The shielding mechanism has a positioning protrusion that positions the shielding arm at either the shielding position or the detection position.
