摘要: The subject matter described herein relates to a method for filling fluid containers, in particular fluid containers for fuel cells The method includes: providing a pressure chamber having a pressure chamber interior; positioning a fluid container within the pressure chamber interior in such a manner that a holding space of the fluid container is fluidically connected to the pressure chamber interior; evacuating the pressure chamber interior up to a target negative pressure in such a manner that, due to the fluid coupling, a negative pressure difference initially forms in the pressure chamber interior with respect to the holding space; and filling the fluid container by introducing a fluid into the holding space.

The plurality of storage-compression containers are mounted inside a chamber (16) of the casing, the casing configured to sustain a vacuum in said chamber to test leakage of said at least one multi-container unit.

摘要: A system for storing air at high pressure underground or underwater includes a plurality of arrays of air tanks, each tank configured to store compressed air at a pressure of at least 40 bar. A piping system connects between an outlet of each air tank, the piping system further including at least one central port for delivering compressed air to and from a respective array. A storage receptacle surrounds the arrays and piping system, protecting the arrays and piping system from an external environment, and thermally insulating the arrays and piping system. A liquid bath is arranged within the storage receptacle. A heat exchanger is configured to maintain a temperature of the liquid bath substantially constant. The storage receptacle may be comprised of plastic pieces welded together in a modular fashion. Each piece may be a cylindrical tube configured to receive therein one or more of the arrays.

摘要: A ring-wing floating platform is disclosed. The ring-wing floating platform includes a floating hull, a top of the floating hull being above a sea surface and its geometry at a water plane is centrally symmetric, a ring-wing surrounding a perimeter of a bottom of the floating hull with a horizontal projection of concentric annular geometries, a positioning system located at the bottom of the floating hull, and a topsides located above the floating hull and connected to the floating hull by deck legs or installed directly on the top of the floating hull. The axes of the ring-wing and the floating hull are collinear, and their bottoms are in a same horizontal plane. The ring-wing and the floating hull are connected together as a unitary structure by multiple connecting components with an annular gap in-between.

The method includes calculating a size ratio based on the smallest first diameter and the largest second diameter of the liner and selecting a braid material having a tensile strength. The method further includes calculating a strength ratio based on the tensile strength of the braid material and a selected target strength threshold for the braided liner and determining an optimal braid angle for the smallest first diameter portions of the liner based on the calculated size ratio.
