    摘要： A sealed container comprises a cylindrical jacket closed at opposite ends by closure pieces welded to the jacket. One closure piece forms a lid having an outlet opening pre-sealed by a tear-off tab. The lid includes a skirt projecting into the jacket, and a gas vent opening which is open during the installation of the closure pieces to vent displaced gas, and is thereafter closed by securing an end of the tear-off tab thereover, or by deforming the lid material, or by placing a drop of hardenable plastic in the vent opening.

    摘要： An adaptor includes a cap and seal and may be easily attached to a container after contents have ben placed in the container. The adaptor includes a seal on its bottom surface which is pinned between that bottom and an upper edge of the sidewall of the container after assembly. This provides a seal which cannot be replaced after opening the container. A second seal covers the first seal to provide additional air-tightness during shipping. The adaptor is securely attached to the container, and those locations at which one could pry the adaptor from the container are provided with tamper-evident features.

A fault zone is formed by a weakened area provided by, for example, a plurality of perforations formed in the post, or around the post, or around the opening or recess, and fault zone is thus which is weaker than the material of the container, and weaker than the locking means mechanism. As a result, the fault zone will fail upon exertion of a force which is less than the disengagement force otherwise required to unlock the locking means, thus providing physical evidence of tampering.
