    摘要： A one-piece container includes a single sheet of corrugated material, including: four walls, a bottom, and a lid, the lid being hingedly and integrally connected to one of the four walls. The bottom and the four walls define a storage area for housing articles therein. The lid is configured to transition between an open position, an intermediate position, and a closed position. The one-piece container includes a mechanism for maintaining the lid in a closed position. In some embodiments, the mechanism biases the lid toward a closed position when in the closed position, an open position when in the open position, and an intermediate position when in the intermediate position. In other embodiments, the mechanism includes tabs and slots for retaining the lid in the closed position. Other embodiments include a combination of these features. The container may be a cardboard box.

    摘要： A collapsible shipping container for perishable goods is comprised of an inner, stiff, corrugated paperboard box having interior surfaces forming an enclosure of defined shape and opposing exterior surfaces. A surrounding skin of thermally insulating material is adhesively secured to the exterior surfaces of the corrugated paperboard box. The thermally insulating skin envelopes the box therewithin. Unlike conventional systems, the thermally insulating skin is located on the outside surfaces of the box, and not within the box. A collapsible shipping container according to the invention to a large extent prevents heat from ever entering the box.

    摘要： A thermal liner comprising a plurality of planar panel sections and being configurable in an operative configuration defining a closed inner chamber delimited by a bottom wall, four side walls and a top wall. Each one of the bottom wall, the side walls and the top wall comprises an inner sheet, an outer sheet and at least one intermediate sheet. A first core layer extends between the inner sheet and a respective one of the at least one intermediate sheet and defines a plurality of geometrically patterned structures inbetween. A second core layer extends between the outer sheet and a respective one of the at least one intermediate sheet and defines a plurality of geometrically patterned structures inbetween. A container having a thermal liner such as the one described above is also provided.
