Abstract:
A push-pull latch assembly for mounting to a cantilevered post. The latch assembly comprises a handle that is slidably and axially insertable into a handle base which is mountable to a member such as a pick mechanism housing. The handle base includes a pair of cantilevered, opposed latched arms having opposed catches for engagement with a groove positioned adjacent to a free end of a cantilevered post. The handle includes triangular rails having inner and outer ramps used to separate the opposed latch arms. The outer ramp separates the latch arms when the handle is inserted into the handle base. The inner ramp separates the latch arms during removal of the latch assembly from the cantilevered post. An axial pushing force engages the latch assembly to the groove and an axial pulling force disengages the latch assembly from the groove allowing for latch assembly removal.

A push-pull latch assembly for a detachable media pick mechanism. The latch assembly comprises a handle that is slidably and axially insertable into a handle base which is mounted to the pick mechanism housing. The handle base includes a pair of cantilevered, opposed latched arms having opposed catches for engagement with a groove positioned adjacent to a free end of a cantilevered drive shaft for the pick mechanism. The inner ramp separates the latch arms during removal of the pick mechanism from the drive shaft. An axial pushing force engages the latch assembly to the groove and an axial pulling force disengages the latch assembly from the groove allowing for pick assembly removal.
Abstract:
A sheet conveyance device includes a driving rotation device, a driven rotation device, and a supporting device including first and second restriction surfaces and supporting the driven rotation device. The driving rotation device rotates by receiving rotational driving force and drives the driven rotation device to rotate at a position facing the driving rotation device. The driven rotation device includes a driven rotation member contacting the driving rotation device, a cylindrical shaft having a cylindrical shape that rotatably supports the driven rotation member, and a restriction member that is at least partially inserted in an inner circumference side of the cylindrical shaft. A position of the cylindrical shaft is restricted in a width direction crossing the sheet conveyance direction by the restriction member contacting the first restriction surface, and movement of the cylindrical shaft in a rotational direction is restricted by the restriction member contacting the second restriction surface.

Abstract:
There are provided a sheet feeding apparatus which, with a simple configuration, can suppress generation of noise during feeding of a sheet without having an affect on sheet separating performance, and an image forming apparatus which includes this sheet feeding apparatus. The sheet feeding apparatus includes: a feeding roller which feeds a sheet S; a separation roller which is pressed against the feeding roller and rotates in a reverse direction to a direction of feeding by the feeding roller to separate sheets, fed by the sheet feeding apparatus, one by one; a feeding rotational shaft which transmits rotational driving force to the feeding roller; and a roller dumper which is provided between the feeding roller and the feeding rotational shaft, and transmits the rotational driving force from the feeding rotational shaft to the feeding roller, while absorbing vibrations of the feeding roller.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for dispensing non-adhesive tape to an article. The apparatus comprises a spool having the non-adhesive tape wound therearound and having a spool bore therethrough. The spool bore is adapted to rotatably receive a support member therein. The apparatus further includes a casing having an interior cavity sized to resistively and rotatably receive the spool therein and a dispenser portion located in the casing for dispensing the non-adhesive tape therethrough. The apparatus may further comprise a finger hub rotatably receivable within the spool bore. The method comprises securing a free end of the non-adhesive tape to the article through a dispenser portion of the casing and rotating the casing around the article with the dispenser portion maintained in radial alignment with the article so as to draw the non-adhesive tape though the dispensing portion and thereby to rotate the spool within the casing.
