    摘要: A system and method of controlling the input and output speed of a continuous sheet of stock material is provided. More specifically, the present invention relates to a system and method used to perform an operation on a continuous sheet of stock material in a high speed manufacturing system. The continuous sheet of stock material may subsequently be received by a second system that performs a different operation on the stock material. In one embodiment, the second system forms the stock material into tabs for container end closures. The system includes an infeed accumulation device and an outfeed accumulation device. The infeed and outfeed accumulation devices enable the system to operate at a variable rate and out of phase with a high speed, coil fed manufacturing system to which the system may be removably integrated.

The meandering correction roller includes a rotational shaft whose direction is changeable. A change in the direction of the rotational shaft causes a position of the roll medium in contact with the meandering correction roller to move in the direction of the rotational shaft.

    摘要: A label paper processing apparatus includes a paper supply unit for supplying and feeding label paper, a digital printing unit for printing the label paper, a laser processing unit, and a pair of loop forming unit disposed between the paper supply unit and the digital printing unit, and between the digital printing unit and the laser processing unit, respectively, each forming a loop of the label paper. The laser processing unit is designed to half-cut the printed label paper and to form cutouts of a shape along a printed cutting locus with a laser beam so as to scan and trace the printed cutting locus, thereby facilitating control in half-cutting of the label paper. The loop forming unit is designed to form a loop of the label paper and to hold a length of the loop substantially constant so as to control feeding of the label paper.

    摘要: A method and system for reducing tension fluctuations in a printing system are disclosed. A plurality of tension zones is defined in the printing system. Tension on the web in one tension zone is controlled independently of the tension on the web in the other tension zones. The printing system also includes at least one roller for each tension zone. The rollers receive tension control commands and control the amount of tension on the web in their respective tension zones. The printing system is used to print a first copy of the print job on the web and tension on the web in each tension zone is measured. Tension control adjustments are computed for each tension zone based on the tension measurements. The tension control adjustments are used to adjust the tension control commands to the rollers to print a second copy of the print job.
