    摘要： Disclosed is a technique of manufacturing an adhesive tape roll by which cut lines for cutting an adhesive tape can be regularly formed at a constant position. Provided are a winding roller (32) that winds the adhesive tape (2) fed out from a mother roll (31) and a cut-lines formation roller (33) that is provided between the mother roll (31) and the winding roller (32) and forms the cut lines (4) in the adhesive tape (2) at a predetermined interval. The winding roller (32) and the cut-lines formation roller (33) are rotated in synchronization with each other via predetermined gears (40).

    摘要： A system and method for producing a spool having a continuous fabric strip is disclosed which produces an extended length fabric strip made from a plurality of seamed standard lengths of the fabric, the extended length fabric strip being substantially spirally wound upon a hollow core with consecutive windings of the extended length fabric strip being located close adjacent each other, and with consecutive rows of the extended length fabric strip overlaying each other on the hollow core. In a first embodiment, the standard length fabric strips are joined together at their respective contiguous ends using a small strip of heat-activated seaming tape. In a second embodiment, the standard length fabric strips are stitched together at their respective contiguous ends using thread. The winding operation simultaneously controls both the lateral position at which the extended length fabric strip is wound onto the core and the rotation of the core to achieve the tight and highly compact winding operation, with the speed of the winding operation being controlled according to the amount of the extended length fabric strip which is available at any given time. The extended length fabric strip is suitable for use in the manufacture of paint roller covers.

    摘要： A method of and apparatus for feeding a continuous thin film plastic tape or like, pliable, foldable strip in an oscillatory fashion, which may be random, from a feed surface having a width many times greater than the width of said tape to a receiving surface having a width at least as great as a tape width and many times narrower than the width of the feed surface by spacing and positioning the feed and receiving surfaces with respect to one another to limit the maximum angle between a transverse plane bisecting the receiving surface and extending towards the approaching tape and the centerline of the tape. The maximum value of this angle, in degrees, is about 6.5 times the inverse of the tape width expressed in inches. The invention is illustrated with an apparatus which converts the oscillatory motion of a tape fed from a roll many times wider than the tape over an equally large roller surface to a pulley only slightly wider than the tape and many times smaller than the roller surface.

    摘要： A spiral winder wrinkle remover capable of wrapping a material of varying thickness into a structurally stable, smooth coil. As a material is supplied to the spiral winder, the collecting device, such as a spool, rotates and oscillates linearly along the axis of rotation to distribute the material along the length of the collecting device and form a structurally stable coil of material. As the material is directed to the collecting device it is threaded through a tilting guide. The guide tilts with the linear oscillations of the collecting device and maintains a uniform tension across the width of the material. The oscillations and tilting guide ensure that a material, particularly if the material's thickness varies along its width, is wrapped into a structurally stable coil where the layers of the coil are wrapped smoothly, without folds or wrinkles.
