摘要： Embodiments of the invention include apparatus for filling containers and related methods. In an embodiment, an apparatus includes a rotary turret assembly rotatably coupled to a filler frame. The rotary turret assembly can include a rotary base and a plurality of hollow columns mounted on the rotary base and arranged in a circle. A plurality of piston assemblies can be configured to move up and down within the hollow columns. Each piston assembly can include a piston body and a top hat assembly configured to releasably engage the top of the piston body. The piston body and the top hat assembly can release from one another when a release lever is engaged. Rotation of the rotary column group causes the cam contact members of the piston assemblies to move over a surface of a cam track causing vertical movement of the top hat assemblies. Other embodiments are included herein.

The displacer arrangement is interactively connected to a control medium in such a way that an elastic volume change in the displacer arrangement changes a volume of the pre-filling chamber, thereby permitting control over an amount of product delivered through the outlet.

摘要： An improved filling valve and liquid filling machine comprising such valve are herein disclosed. The filling valve comprises a housing having a base, a cap and a sidewall extending between the base and the cap thereby defining a chamber. The base has a ramp which slopes from a bottom surface of the base toward the cap. An outlet tube extends from said housing and has an inlet opening in fluid communication with the chamber. An inlet port extends through the sidewall to allow liquid product to enter the chamber. A plunger guide having an opening is provided on the cap with the opening extending through the cap. A plunger is slidably received in the outlet tube and the opening in the plunger guide. The plunger is movable between a position in which the plunger seals the outlet tube thereby closing the valve and a position in which the plunger is withdrawn from the outlet tube thereby unsealing the outlet tube and thereby opening the valve. The filling valve may be utilized on a liquid filling machine to fill containers with liquid product.

A lift bracket is mounted for common equidistant movement with the metering element, and the dispensing nozzle is interconnected to the lift bracket for equidistant movement in one direction.

An annular valve seal is disposed in the recess formed in the annular wall section to press against the plunger as it moves through the wall section, to provide a seal therebetween.

The large-diameter portion has a diameter gradually increasing as it extends from its upper end downward.

摘要： An apparatus for filling a specified amount of liquid comprises a vertical tubular filling nozzle, a damper attached to the lower end of the filling nozzle and pivotally movable upward and downward, a vertical rod supported upwardly and downwardly movably inside the filling nozzle, a connecting member connecting the free end of the damper to the lower end of the vertical rod, a spring biasing the vertical rod upward to hold the damper closed against the gravity on the liquid within the nozzle, and a metering cylinder for feeding the liquid to the nozzle in the specified amount at a time to open the damper against the spring. An annular seat facing downward is formed on the inner surface of the nozzle approximately at the midportion of its height. A liquid channel blocking annular member is mounted on the vertical rod so as to come into contact with the seat simultaneously when or immediately before the damper is closed. The volume of liquid fed from the metering cylinder to the nozzle at a time is greater than the volume of liquid to be accommodated in the nozzle in the portion thereof under the blocking member.

摘要： A filler head for delivering a preselected volume of product to a container, the head having a charging cylinder and a piston movable in the cylinder to define a product chamber therein. Product is delivered under pressure through a passage to the chamber, the piston being movable under product pressure in a direction enlarging the chamber. Adjustable stop means limit chamber enlarging movement of the piston to determine the preselected volume. A plug entering the passage as the piston approaches the end of its discharge stroke restricts the discharge of product to reduce turbulence. A piston valve is movable between the product passage and an outlet passage, in one position interrupting the delivery of product to the chamber for discharge of product from the chamber through the valve to the outlet, and in another position closing the outlet and permitting delivery of product under pressure to the chamber. The piston valve is removable as a unit from the head, for ease of cleaning.
