    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing an anhydrous powder having a calcium nitrate content of between 92 and 99.9 weight %, a water content of between 0.1 and 8 weight %; and a particle size of between 0.05 and 1.5 mm, wherein the method comprises the step of subjecting a calcium nitrate solution having a water content of between 70 and 15 weight % and a calcium nitrate content of between 30 and 85 weight % to a drying step in an industrial turbo-dryer, resulting in the anhydrous calcium nitrate powder. The invention furthermore relates to such an anhydrous calcium nitrate powder and the use of an industrial turbo-dryer to produce such anhydrous calcium nitrate powder.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method for the production of nitrate containing products (fertilizers, technical products) from undercooling melts, wherein a XN—water solution is evaporated up to a content of 50-99.8 weight % XN, where X is one or more selected from Ca, Mg, NH, Na and K, and N means nitrate. The preferred range of XN is 70-99.5 weight %. The melt is cooled down to and kept at a temperature at or below the crystallisation point and finely divided solid XN powder consisting of the equilibrium phases is added to the melt. Melt drops are then formed and allowed to cool and solidify during up to 70 seconds. It is preferred to use a cooling belt for solidification of the particles. The belt is cooled by air, water, oil or another medium.

C. lower than the saturation temperature, the resulting liquor is batchwise cooled, and the Ca(NO.sub.3).sub.2.4H.sub.2 O crystallized out is separated from the cooled liquor.The Ca(NO.sub.3 ).sub.2.4H.sub.2 O is substantially crystallized out without excessive cooling as very coarse and uniform particles which can be easily separated out.

The apparatus (10) includes a first fluidised bed (12) which is supplied with air (18) that has been conditioned to a relative humidity of less than 30% at 40 (C and heated to a temperature of 40 (C to 100 (C. One or more spray nozzles (26) are provided for spraying a nitrate melt into the first fluidised bed (12) to form nitrate granules. The apparatus (10) also includes a second fluidised bed (14) which is in direct communication with the first fluidised bed (12). Nitrate granules formed in the first fluidised bed (12) flow directly to the second fluidised bed (14) where they are cooled to a temperature of less than 60 (C. The nitrate granules produced by the apparatus (10) and process of the invention are spherical in shape, hard and dry and do not break down easily during handling. A main advantage of the apparatus (10) according to the invention is that it is compact, capable of very high product rates, and can be operated by one operator.
