摘要: A system comprises a rotting sedimentation tank with a particulate solids filter, a distribution well, an exposed reservoir with drainage of PVC pipes and insulation of PVC foil, and an inspection well at the reservoir outlet. The reservoir is filled with layers of gravel and sand, planted with hydrophilic vegetation. The filter bed is composed of three layers, the bottom layer filled with coarse-grained oval gravel, in which the dispersal drain is at ⅔ of the height connected with a supply pipe to the distribution well and terminated with the ventilation chimney, the intermediate layer filled with fine-grained oval gravel, and the top layer filled with sand, in which the collecting drain with an outlet to the inspection well is laid. The level of the sewage in the rotting sedimentation tank is located below the level of the collecting drain.

摘要: The disclosure describes an algal system for improving water quality through the use of algae. In example embodiments, the algal system comprises an elongate device including algae enclosed therein and capable of reducing at least the levels of nitrates and phosphates in water directed through the device. The algae may be capable of also reducing E. coli bacteria, other bacteria, and viruses in the water. Preferably, the algae comprises a filamentous green algae, including without limitation, Spirogyra grevilleana algae. In one example embodiment, the algal system comprises an elongate device and an elongate cartridge that is pre-configured to treat certain chemical compounds, bacteria, and viruses, and certain other characteristics of water. The cartridge is delivered to the site where the water is to be treated and installed in the field, possibly replacing an existing cartridge. After use, algae may be processed into biofuel.

摘要: Moving bed media serving as a growth surface for bacteria that remove soluble carbonaceous BOD, soluble inorganic ammonia nitrogen, phosphorous, nitrate nitrogen or nitrite nitrogen from wastewater are contained in a variable liquid depth, variable volume, hydraulic flow equalization basin. The equalization basin can be divided into different treatment sections by installing separator screens. Fat accumulation on the moving media, which could cause the media to float or in some other way cause the media to be ineffective, can be prevented by a fat, oil, and grease removal process in a dissolved air flotation cell upstream of the flow equalization basin containing the moving bed media. The moving bed media are retained in the basin by a suitable media screen as the liquid level and volume increases or decreases in the basin depending upon the effluent pumping rate vs. the influent flow rate.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus for biological sewage treatment, including a concentrated mixed liquor driving device that uses a gas to drive a concentrated mixed liquor to flow. The present invention further relates to a method for biological sewage treatment, including a step of using a gas to drive a concentrated mixed liquor to flow. The gas can be an aeration gas, especially an oxygen-containing aeration gas after aeration treatment. The apparatus and method of the present invention can sufficiently utilize the energy and oxygen of the aeration gas, so that the energy consumption and maintenance cost of whole apparatus are reduced, biological sewage treatment effects are improved, and sludge floating is prevented. In addition, the apparatus of present invention has advantages of high performance, energy saving, high reliability, and good movability.

摘要: A wastewater treatment apparatus performs both initial rainwater overflow treatment and primary treatment. A wastewater treatment method according to the apparatus, the apparatus modifying an existing primary depositing reservoir to an up-flow high-speed filtration facility, the apparatus using a floating filter and biological filter paper applied to an existing depositing reservoir to perform an initial rainwater treatment. The apparatus can be applied to an existing wastewater treatment facility to eliminate the necessity of installing an additional facility for an initial rainwater treatment facility. The apparatus is further capable of adjusting the flow rate into a biological treatment facility to achieve a target water quality. The apparatus comprises: an up-flow high-speed filtration facility for filtering floating matter contained in wastewater using a floating filter; a sludge holding tank; a biological treatment facility for removing dissolved organic matter contained in the water discharged from the up-flow high-speed filtration facility; and a concentrator.
