These dyestuffs are suitable for dyeing synthetic fibers.

    摘要： Polyester fabric is dyed with azo dyes made by coupling an appropriate diazotized aminobenzene into a coupler prepared by reacting 2-chloroacetylchloride or 3-chloropropionylchloride with 2 moles of N-alkyl, N-cyanoalkyl, or N-benzyl-substituted aminobenzene. This class of azo dyes, when appropriately dispersed, produces dyeings on aromatic polyester fabrics with excellent substantivity, outstanding sublimation fastness, and good fastness to light. The dyes are applied to polyesters, such as polyethylene terephthalate, by carrier dyeing, pressure dyeing, and thermofixation methods.
