摘要： A method of manufacturing laminated plates, pencil boards or shafts for utensils for writing, drawing or painting, wherein the method includes initially producing in a container a pulp essentially composed of raw material powder and/or fibers and water, wherein the pulp is essentially free of binding agent, applying the pulp onto a screen and predrying the pulp in layers in the form of webs or foils so as to form a non-woven fabric, rolling the fabric onto a roller, applying between the material layers a connecting layer of binding agent, adhesives and/or other additives and cutting, dehydrating and drying the resulting plates and subjecting the plates to further processing.

摘要： An inorganic composition useful as material for Lehr rolls at temperatures above 500.degree.C consists essentially of 15-45% chrysotile asbestos, 40-75% talc component and 2-35% inorganic binder. The composition is also used in manufacturing millboard by forming a water slurry of said composition and transferring said slurry to a rotating screen cylinder, then to a moving belt and then to a rotating drum upon which layers of said slurry accumulate upon each other and are thereafter slit, dried and formed into a flat sheet.

摘要： The distribution and orientation of the fibers in a short fiber fleece is improved by flowing the fiber suspension onto the surface of a rotating drum through a plurality of relatively narrow channels formed in a chute. The channels may be parallel partition walls extending in the flow direction or the channels may be formed by hoses or pipes placed one next to the other on the chute. The flow speed at the exit end of the chute may be increased by narrowing the exit end cross-sectional area.

摘要： A composition board consisting essentially of a resin binder in the amount of between about 10 and 45 percent by weight and filler materials in the amount of between about 90 and 55 percent by weight and having a cross section of varying depth formed as a result of differentially compacting a dry blank to a thickness which is between about 30 and 70 percent of the original thickness at an average pressure of between about 600 psi and 1500 psi at an elevated temperature which is between about 275.degree. F. and 350.degree. F. so as to cause portions which were compacted to a greater degree to exhibit a darker color than portions which were compacted to a lesser degree to thereby produce a tonal effect on said composition board.

摘要： An inorganic board consisting of a cured base mat and a cured surface mat is manufactured by forming a surface mat by the dry method on a base mat formed by a paper making method, embossing the composite mat, and curing the embossed composite mat. Ridges each having an enlarged top are formed on the surface of the base mat when a plural number of single mats formed by the paper making method are rolled and laminated around a making roll having a surface on which a plural number of ring grooves are formed. The ridges of the base mat engage the surface mat since each ridge has an enlarged top to improve the interlaminate strength between a cured base mat and a cured surface mat of the resulting inorganic board.

The connections of the intermediate frame both to the front frame and to the rear frame are releasable in order to remove the intermediate frame in a substantially horizontal and longitudinal direction from above the roll combination into a supporting member.
