摘要: Foundation integral construction components and support systems where multiple pile foundation components are incorporated into a structure system that is connected to, or otherwise part of the foundation, can further reduce the need for excavation and thus preserve existing contours and drainage properties of the land. These multiple pile foundation systems, are applicable to a wide variety of site and soil conditions and a wide variety of surface structures or buildings. The multiple pile foundation system can reduce the need for site excavation, drainage control, and soil backfill by transferring load from a portion of a structure to the ground.

摘要: A device for a pile anchorable in the bottom of a lake or sea and/or in the ground and of the screw- and/or push-type. The device includes a force-transmitting part arranged at an upper portion of a front tubular part of the pile. The force-transmitting part includes either a disk-shaped part with a substantially vertically extending flange directed toward the front tubular part, or a threaded portion along the pile that includes at least approximately one turn around and a cylinder-shaped part extending in a longitudinal direction of the threaded portion and completely around the threaded portion. The front tubular part includes apertures for debouching water and air from the upper portion. The force-transmitting part enables transmitting downwardly directed axial forces and laterally directed horizontal forces to the bottom or ground.

摘要: A system and method for securely cradling a subsea pipeline is claimed that lands on one side of the pipeline, is embedded into the sea floor, reaches under the pipeline, positions the cradling structure, and then lifts the pipeline. The system typically comprises a gravity driven pile based device, comprising a pile tower, a roller carriage assembly, and a jacking assembly that engages the roller carriage assembly and pile tower rails.

摘要: A system for tracking and monitoring data related to the manufacture, installation and/or life cycle of concrete structures, such as pilings, as well as related system components and methods for tracking, storing and accessing such data is provided. The system utilizes one or more embeddable antenna assemblies as well as sensor packages that are installed in the concrete structure form before casting. The antenna(s) provide wireless communication of the data from the structure. On board memory is also provided to store structure related data with the structure. A system for tracking a pile during driving is also provided.

摘要: A pile cap of homogeneous material is disclosed that includes a top member part having a relatively large top area and a base member part having a correspondingly smaller bottom area. The sides of at least the bottom member part are thereby tapered. The bottom area preferably includes a recess for accommodating the top of a cylindrical pile. The shape distributes even an unbalanced load having an off-center moment of force to the top of the pile without creating potentially damaging shear stresses along the sides of the pile cap.

摘要: The method of converting clayey or silty soil into stable and solid underground columns or piles suitable for carrying a building structure, comprises first the drilling of bores of a diameter considerably smaller than the external diameter of the column or pile to be created, to a predetermined depth, and secondly directing a focused laser beam gradually across the entire surface of each bore by mechanical and optical means, in such a manner that each point of the bore surface is irradiated and heated at an intensity sufficient for converting the soil surrounding the bore into a solid permanent mass of a predetermined thickness measured from the bore surface, which mass retains its strength and is resistant to moisture and temperature.

摘要: Rubbish is disposed of by drilling a plurality of large vertical holes in a large area of land having relatively firm soil. Small charges of loose rubbish are dumped into each hole. After each charge is dumped, the rubbish is compacted, as by hammering and/or downward compression. The area may then be covered with soil. To provide stability, the holes are drilled to a point above the water table, and adjacent holes are spaced and separated by a substantial mass of soil.

摘要: An elastic wave damping structure can include a structural arrangement of at least two elements, each with an inner volume and containing a medium resistant to passage of an elastic wave. Example elements can be earth boreholes or water pylons. The structural arrangement can taper from an upper aperture to a lower aperture, the structural arrangement defining a protection zone at the upper aperture. The structural arrangement can be configured to attenuate power from the anticipated elastic wave within the protection zone relative to power from the anticipated elastic wave external to the protection zone. A grouping may include elements that form acute or obtuse angles with a direction of an elastic wave to attenuate wave power. High-value buildings or other structure in a protection zone on land or in water can be substantially shielded from seismic or water waves.
