    摘要: A percussion device that includes: —an input side; —an output side; —at least one drive transmitter; —a drive transmitter pathway; —a percussion impactor; and —a percussion anvil; where: the drive transmitter pathway is a circumferential pathway around a longitudinal axis of the percussion device; —the drive transmitter pathway includes at least one tooth section including a lift section and a lead section; —the at least one tooth section is essentially one wavelength of a sawtooth wave; —the lift section is inclined away from a base of the drive transmitter pathway; —the lead section is a section of the tooth section which abruptly returns to the base of the drive transmitter pathway; —the input side is rotationally isolated from the percussion impactor; —the percussion anvil is attached to, or forms part of, the output side; —the percussion impactor includes an impact end and a force input end which are longitudinally opposite terminal ends of the percussion impactor; and —the impact end faces the percussion anvil; such that: when in use, and the output section is free to rotate, the at least one drive transmitter and the drive transmitter pathway are configured to act co¬ operatively to transfer the rotational motion of the input side to the output side; and —when in use and limited or no rotation of the output side is possible, the at least one drive transmitter and the drive transmitter pathway are configured to act co-operatively to increase, maintain or decrease the distance between the percussion impactor and the percussion anvil; wherein the at least one drive transmitter and the drive transmitter pathway are configured to act co-operatively to accept rotational motion from the input side and transmit a percussive and/or rotational motion to the output side.

The posts may be at least partially positioned underground, with the stabilizing plates being buried to a depth of, for example, about 1 foot. Posts in a front portion of the mounting assembly optionally may be connected to an adjacent one of posts in a back portion of the assembly by a cross member. A ground mounted post that is driven them lifted to deploy uplift members. A ground mounting system based on a double pounder pile driven mono pole is also described.

    摘要: A system for installing an array of pilings for an array of solar panels is highly accurate and efficient. The system includes a horizontal laser and a rotating vertical laser that are mounted on a first piling and aligned with a target on a second piling on the opposite side of the array. An alignment template is placed against a piling and aligned with the vertical rotating laser. The aligned template provides a designated location where the next piling is driven. A hammer target on the pile driver allows the installer to precisely install the next piling. After installation, the next piling is measured for accuracy and if errors are found, an alignment bracket is used to correct the error. The process is repeated until the array of pilings is complete.

In an embodiment, the process includes obtaining design data relating to load and soil characteristics; performing modal tests on a pile member installed in soil to determine natural frequency of the pile member; performing vibration tests on a pile member to determine stiffness; forming a model of using data obtained; testing, in silico, how the model responds to frequencies in a range of the equipment; adjusting, in silico, the model to satisfy design criteria; forming, in silico, a plan of a foundation system based on the adjusted model; installing the foundation system based on the plan; performing vibration tests on the installed foundation system, and measuring vibration levels; and adjusting the foundation system to avoid resonance at a natural frequency by one of stiffen vibrations or dampen vibrations. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

    摘要: A pile is moved downwards by a movable part inside a piling apparatus. An apparatus body is fastened to the pile by fastening elements, during piling the movable part inside the apparatus body is moved downwards, the movable part is stopped hydraulically by medium in a cylinder space without the movable part striking the apparatus body. As the downwards directed motion of the movable part is stopped, the apparatus body and the pile fastened to it jerk downwards, after which, the movable part is moved hydraulically upwards. The counterforce of the motion affects the apparatus body and the pile fastened to it by pushing them downwards. The piling apparatus includes hydraulic cylinder cylinder to the piston of which the movable part is fastened, and to the hydraulic cylinder are connected a pressure transformer, a damping apparatus and a set of control valves to stop the movable part hydraulically.
