摘要: A beam to column joint connection structure of a building framework has a column assembly and a beam assembly. The column assembly includes a column, a pair of gusset plates on opposite sides of the column, and bearing elements. The beam assembly includes a beam having an end portion received between the gusset plates. The beam assembly has bearing elements. The bearing elements are positioned with respect to each other to prevent movement of the beam assembly relative to the column assembly by engagement of exterior bearing engagement surfaces of the bearing elements of the column assembly with exterior engagement bearing surfaces of the bearing elements of the beam assembly in a direction along a longitudinal axis of the beam. The beam-to-column joint connection does not require any bolts or welds connecting the beam assembly to the column assembly, resulting in an all bearing moment connection.

摘要: Disclosed is a cold-water soluble starch and a process for preparing same. Generally, the process comprises providing a hydroxyalkyl starch and applying a shearing force to the starch in an extruder in the presence of moisture, the force and the moisture each being sufficient to gelatinize at least substantially all of the granules of the starch to thereby form a sheared starch. The starch is heated to its gelatinization temperature after the starch has passed partially through the barrel of the extruder, with the moisture being maintained at a level sufficiently high to allow gelatinization but sufficiency low to protect the starch from becoming too sticky to extrude. The extruded starch product thus formed may be used in connection with a number of film-forming, coating, and other applications.

摘要: A joint connection structure of a building framework includes a column assembly including a column and a pair of gusset plates connected to the column on opposite sides of the column and extending laterally outward from the column. A full-length beam assembly includes a full-length beam having upper and lower flanges and an end portion received between the gusset plates. A connecting member is operatively attached by welding to at least one of the flanges of the full-length beam. The connecting member is bolted to at least one of the gusset plates of the column assembly to connect the full-length beam assembly to the column assembly.

[Solution] The present invention comprises: a base metal fitting fixed to a rooftop surface; a height-adjusting metal fitting capable of sliding in a vertical direction relative to the base metal fitting; a position-adjusting metal fitting capable of sliding in a horizontal direction relative to the height-adjusting metal fitting; and a fixing metal fitting for sandwiching and fixing the solar battery module between the fixing metal fitting and the position-adjusting metal fitting from the top and bottom, the fixing metal fitting being attached relative to the position-adjusting metal fitting. The position-adjusting metal fitting has: a mounting board part for mounting the solar battery module; a stopper capable of making contact with the edge of a frame provided to the periphery of the solar battery module when the solar battery module is mounted on the mounting board part; and a protrusion for making contact with a conductor part of the frame when the solar battery module is fixed to ensure electrical conductance.
