    摘要: A fastener (30) for attaching surface tiles (12) or the like to a support pedestal (10), wherein the pedestal includes a base and a head member for directly or indirectly supporting a tile. Each tile corner comprises a triangular slot (24) for receiving the fastener (30), which is generally rhomboidal in shape, with a central slot (32) extending between two opposed corners of the fastener. A tab (34) projects from the corner of the fastener adjacent each slot (32) end. An anchoring means such as a screw, in use, is located in the slot, and screws into the head of the pedestal (10). In use, the fastener can be located in or moved out of the slots in the sides of the surface tiles and the sliding movement can be used to secure the tiles to the pedestal or to disengage a tile when removal of a tile is required.

    摘要: A disabling tab (100) for disabling an anti-disengagement or safety catch (80) such as on a connector (20) of a pedestal for elevated floors having mating internally and externally threaded components is disclosed. The safety catch (80) is a pivoted wedge shaped block defined at the lower end of an externally threaded component which defines a ramped portion (84) extending to a buttress end (86) facing the start of the external thread. In the internally threaded components, one thread also defines a buttress end (92). When the components are screwed together, the ramp (84) of the safety catch deflects inwards and passes the buttress end (92). When the components are unscrewed, the end (86) of the catch abuts the end (92) of the thread preventing the components from being unscrewed. The tab (100) includes a v-shaped end portion (106) comprising two arms—a thin ramped bridge portion (110) which in use fits over, the safety catch (80), and a second arm 108 which locates between the threads at the start of the thread of the externally threaded component. A shaft (100) extends away from end portion (106). In use, the bridge portion (110) disables the safety catch by guiding the buttress end (92) of the internal thread over the safety catch (80) while deflecting the safety catch inwards. The arms (110, 108) of the bridge portion are thin enough to pass between the external and internal threads without jamming.

    摘要: A temporary collapsible stage having a plurality of individual platforms. Each individual platform has a top square portion and four corner portions. Adjustable telescopic legs secure these individual platforms to each other. Each adjustable telescopic leg has an inner leg member and an outer leg member both having a generally cross-shaped configuration. The corner portions of each platform can be inserted into and secured within the inner leg member of the adjustable telescopic leg, and the inner leg is in turn inserted into and secured within the outer leg member. The inner leg member and the outer leg member are provided with a plurality of pinholes for securing these leg members together. The height of each adjustable telescopic leg is adjusted by sliding the inner leg member with respect to the outer leg member and securing these leg members in the desired position by inserting pins into the appropriate pinholes of both leg members.

    摘要: Floor panel support legs support floor panels atop a floor slab and a double floor device uses such floor panel support legs. Each floor support leg is constituted by a pair of cylindrical first and second pedestal members and a fixing member for fixing the relative position between the first and second pedestal members, the first and second pedestal members having bottoms at their axial one end portions and thread portions at their inner and outer circumferential surfaces respectively so that they are thread-engaged with each other through their thread portions. The axial height of the support leg is set by the degree of thread engagement between the first and second pedestal members and the thus set height is fixed by the fixing member. Such support legs are arranged between a floor slab and floor panels at butted portions of the floor panels to support the floor panels to thereby constitute a double floor device. Thus, the support legs are capable of strongly supporting floor panels at a low position from a floor slab to thereby provide a low double floor device.
