摘要： An installer, securing radiant heat tubing to wire mesh while standing, uses an apparatus with an adjustable telescoping housing. The installer, by actuating a power drill, or other electrically driven device, rotates a shaft that is attached to a drive roller in close proximity to an idler roller. These rollers frictionally engage an end of a preformed plastic binding coil. The preformed plastic binding coil end is advanced through a feeding tube that allows the end of the preformed plastic binding coil to wrap around the intersection where the radiant heat tubing and wire mesh meet. As the preformed plastic binding coil resumes its coiled configuration, the tying operation is complete. A cutter blade actuated by the user frees the apparatus from the tied radiant heat tubing and wire mesh.

摘要： A tool for installing a heating wire in a floor substrate of the type having receiving means opened toward a surface thereof to receive a heating wire comprises a support with a handle portion to be manually handled by a user. A contact surface is related to the support, the contact surface adapted to contact the floor or floor substrate during displacement of the tool along the floor substrate. An interface is between the handle portion and a heating wire. The interface is adapted to contact the heating wire such that a given pressure applied on the handle portion by the user during the displacement of the tool along the floor substrate is converted by the interface into local engagement of the heating wire in at least one of the receiving means. A method for installing the heating wire using the tool is also provided.

摘要： A wire-binding device for binding together at least two objects comprises a handle part via which the wire-binding device can be held by an operator. Pushing forward the handle part causes a V-shaped wire clip to be guided along the inside of two closing jaws of a mouth until the wire clip encloses the two objects which are to be connected. Additionally provided on the mouth is positioned having two mutually opposite guide faces of which the spacing from one another is less than the spacing of the closing jaws from one another.

In one embodiment, the apparatus may be a tray defined by a frame with a lattice for supporting pavers. The tray preferably features a tubing track throughout the lattice to accommodate heat exchange tubing. In operation the tray may be positioned above a pedestal or directly on a subsurface. In embodiment, the tray may be outfitted with insulation and a metal plate so that heat may be exchanged with pedestals via fluid passing through tubing installed throughout the lattice. In a preferred embodiment, the tray features a slot in its corners for receiving a locking disk or locking slider.
