    摘要： An elongated, flexible safety guard for use with moveable platforms is provided. The platform, which the safety guard is mounted thereto, has a support frame and is capable of moving in ascending and descending directions. In one embodiment, the safety guard comprises: (i) a substantially nullU-shapednull upper portion, and (ii) a lower portion that extends from the U-shaped upper portion. The U-shaped upper portion has opposing side wall segments that are connected together. The side wall segments define an open space therebetween for receiving the support frame of the platform. In one embodiment, the lower portion of the safety guard has a nullJ-shapednull configuration.

    摘要： An elevating scaffold includes a support platform elevated by means of a hydraulically powered pantograph mechanism, with controls for raising and lowering the platform being mounted on the platform. For elevating building panels to a wall or ceiling, such as 4 X 8 foot panels of plasterboard or decorative panels, and also for nailing such panels to wall studs or ceiling beams, a panel support platform is elevated by means of a hydraulically controlled pantograph mechanism and a hydraulically operated and controlled tilt mechanism moves the support platform between a horizontal position and a vertical position. Appropriate hydraulic controls are provided for positioning the support platform at any desired angle of inclination. Associated with the support platform are hammer units for nailing the panels to wall studs or ceiling beams, with the hammer units being positionable to accommodate different spacing between such studs and beams. Suitable controls are provided for remotely operating the hammer units to nail the panels to the studs or beams.

    摘要： A material handler for use by a self-propelled machines to handle elongate panels of sheet material comprises a support adapted to receive and support the elongate panels. A base mounts the support for pivotal movement of the support relative to the base about a tilt axis which is transverse to the length of the elongate panels when held on the support. The base is adapted for connection to the self-propelled machine. A mover drives the pivotal movement of the support relative to the base to selectively tilt the support about the tilt axis so that when the elongate sheets are held by the support the elongate sheets assumes a desired slope along their lengths.
