摘要: An improved scaffolding tie (1c) for connecting a scaffolding tarpaulin (8) to a scaffolding pole (9) is disclosed. The tie (1c) comprises an anchor (4c) for anchoring the tie (1c) to the scaffolding tarpaulin(S), an attachment portion (6c) for attaching the tie (1c) to a scaffolding pole (9), and a ligament (5c). The ligament (5c) is connected between the anchor (4c) and the attachment portion (6c) and arranged, in use, to bias the anchor and attachment portion towards one another. The attachment portion (6c) comprises a fastening means (2c) and a connector piece (60c) arranged, in use, to reversibly connect to one another to form a loop around a scaffolding pole (9).

摘要: A break-away canopy assembly configured for use with a work platform in an elevator hoistway is provided. The break-away canopy assembly includes a plurality of spaced apart canopy posts in a substantially vertical orientation. A first support framework is connected to one or more of the spaced apart canopy posts. A second support framework is connected to one or more of the spaced apart canopy posts and opposes the first support framework. The first and second support frameworks each have connected first and second extension assemblies. One or more roof sections span and are connected to the first and second support frameworks. The first and second extension assemblies of the first support framework and the first and second extension assemblies of the second support frameworks are each configured to separate from each other in the event of an uncontrolled descent of the work platform.

摘要: A scaffold wall system for erecting temporary insulated facilities using a scaffold structure for support is disclosed. The system comprises a floor supported by the scaffold structure, a plurality of walls supported by the floor, and a ceiling supported by the walls. The floor comprises a plurality of support beams laid across the scaffold structure, and floor boards laid across the support beams. The walls comprise a plurality of wall panels placed into customized tracks secured to the floor. Insulative sleeves are placed between the wall panels. The ceiling also comprises a plurality of panels with insulative sleeves. The system allows for multiple levels of temporary insulated facilities to be erected within a scaffold.

摘要: An elongated clamp for securing a flexible fabric-like shroud to a scaffold support member including two opposed jaws movable between an open and closed position by a one pin and an at-least-one wedge combination. The flexible shroud is held to the support member by the clamp's gripping force. Multiple clamps securable at different points along the various standard support members can provide positive securement of the shroud.

摘要: A scaffold has several spaced apart systems of construction frames present on top of each other, as well as handrail frames that extend between the construction frames. The construction frames have three posts connected together by crossbars, in which the front post is shorter than the other two. The handrail frames are attached to these short posts. Each handrail frame is built up of two post sections with a handrail and a side plank between them. The post sections form half of a lengthwise divided post. The post sections of two adjacent handrail frames thus form one whole post, which can be inserted into the short post of a construction frame. As the post sections are part of the handrail frames, the handrail frames can be easily attached to the short posts already present at the front of the construction frames.

摘要: The present invention provides temporary protection of outside objects from wind, rain, snow, or other elements. In particular, the present invention is a system of supports and fabric or plastic panels that are erected to provide a continuous protective covering over an area, structure, or object. The components of the system may be assembled in various configurations as the situation demands. The system requires minimal labor to install and the covering can be readily raised and lowered as desired.
