    摘要: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing profiled metal strips (1, 1′), in which a metal strip (1, 1′) with predefinable material thickness consisting, in particular, of stainless steel is wound up on a coil (4) and guided through a rolling stand (W1-W4) containing several rolls (2, 3, 2′, 3′), wherein at least the rolls (2, 3) that effectively interact with the metal strip (1, 1′) are provided with a predefinable topography (8, 9), by means of which profiles with profile depths >250 μm can be produced on both sides of the metal strip (1, 1′) depending on the geometry of the topography (8, 9) of the rolls (2, 3), and wherein the metal strip (1, 1′) is subsequent to its profiling wound up on a coil (5) and, if so required, subjected to a thermal post-treatment.

    摘要: A system for maintaining a continuous speed in a long rolling mill is provided that includes a plurality of guide rollers that feed a billet product from a caster to an entry roll stand along a mill pass line to an exit roll stand. Also, the system includes a plurality of gauges positioned at a plurality of locations along the mill pass line, the gauges perform speed measurement of the billet product passing along the guide rollers. Furthermore, the system includes a logic controller that receives the speed measurement and maintains a speed relationship where the speed between the caster and the entry roll stand is constant as well as the exit speed of the end roll stand is also constant.

    摘要: A method and apparatus is disclosed for simultaneously creating a pair of stacks of nested sinuous spring strips. This apparatus includes first and second generally circular forming drums onto which a feeder mechanism is operable to sequentially and alternately pass each of the spring strips from over a forming mandrel onto the top surface of the first and second generally circular forming drums. A first stripper mechanism is then operable to strip a first one of the strips onto a first stacking drum and for stripping a second following one of the strips onto a second stacking drum. A second stripper mechanism is then operable to strip those stacks from the stacking drums onto a pair of discharge chutes.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for continuously manufacturing metal sheets. The method includes: (a) providing a first metal coil having a first end and a second end; (b) continuously driving the first end of the first metal coil to move forward; (c) providing a second metal coil having a first end and a second end; and (d) lapping and rolling the first end of the second metal coil and the second end of the first metal coil, so that the second metal coil moves forward following the first metal coil. In this way, the present invention only causes a few seconds' delay in rolling, so a small piler is needed, thus reducing the space of the production line and saving the facility cost.
