    摘要： A universal security device for preventing unlocking rotation of right and left door stanchions of cargo containers including a protective housing for a puck lock and channel shaped cross bar wings extending from its laterally opposite sides. A hook with claws for engaging a stanchion includes a palm with a locking tab having a locking bar receiving opening. The palm is insertable through one of the complimentary openings provided in each of the two side walls of the housing. At least one interior tab with a locking bar receiving opening is provided in the housing and when the locking rod of a puck lock engages the openings in the locking tabs, the cross bar structure prevents an unlocking rotation of the stanchion.

    摘要： A door latching system for securing an armored door or window includes a latch assembly which is bolted to the interior of an armored door, a handle assembly which is welded to the exterior of the armored door and a strike plate which is welded to a vehicle structure or an armored side plate. The latch functions by moving an interior handle or an exterior handle in a rotary motion, which rotates a square key stock to which a cam is attached that retracts a latch. The latch is spring-loaded which allows the latch to extend to its original position when a handle is released. The springs also move the handles back to their original locations when released. When the door is shut the latch is pushed back by the strike plate, which moves the latch away from the cam, thus allowing the door to close and latch without movement of the handles. The strike plate has a roller mounted on it, which allows the latch to roll on it when the door is closed. An optional locking system allows the latching system to be secured in a latched or locked position such that the door or window to which it attached may only be readily opened from inside the vehicle.

    摘要： The present invention is a system and method for an easy installation storm door for installation in a home. The door system may include a door panel that is mounted onto two vertical z-bar frames such that the door system can be installed in a left hinge or right hinge format. The z-bar frames are precut at the factory to be shorter than a standard doorframe so that they do not have to be cut during installation. Also included in the system are top and bottom expanders that fit onto a top and bottom side of the door panel so as to selectively adjust the vertical height of the door panel. The top and bottom expanders further insure a reasonable air and moisture barrier between the interior and exterior of the home. The door system further includes a lock assembly that is pre-installed such that it can be utilized whether the door system is installed in a left hinge or right hinge format. The lock system may include a lockbody that includes duplicate hardware such that the door panel can be situated in the doorframe in a right hinge or left hinge format without having to adjust the position or orientation of the lockbody.
