Abstract:
In a window regulator 10, when a pin bolt 42 provisionally attached to a pulley 22 and a pulley support 54 is fastened to a door panel 14 by a nut 52, the pulley 22 and the pulley support 54 are supported on the pin bolt 42 and attached to a predetermined position on the door panel 14. Here, in the above-described provisionally attached state, the pin bolt 42 is held in the pulley 22 by pin member holding claws 74 of the pulley 22, and the pulley 22 is held in the pulley support 54 by pulley holding claws 68 of the pulley support 54. Consequently, when the pin bolt 42 is to be fastened to a body panel, the pulley 22, the pulley support 54, and the pin bolt 42 can be handled as a single part. Thus, the work of attaching a pulley and a pulley support to a body panel of a vehicle can be facilitated.
Abstract:
A window lifter rail includes a pulley and a pulley cover. The pulley cover can be fastened to the window lifter rail in various positions. This ensures an assembly unit that offers a more flexible use while also reducing the production and installation costs.
Abstract:
A window regulator cable tensioner includes a screw and nut assembly having an irreversible thread lead angle, a first spring to absorb reversible slack in the cable, and a second spring to actuate movement of the screw and nut assembly. The stiffness of the first spring is greater than the stiffness of the second spring. The cable tensioner absorbs the reversible slack in the cable differently from irreversible slack in the cable.

Abstract:
An improved curved cable support member adapted to the ends of the rail guides of a Bowden window lift. This support member (2) comprises at least one projecting first catch means at its side facing the rail guide (1), the projecting catch means is undercut so that a free gap about the material thickness of the guide rail (1) exists between a free-standing lip (3) and the body of the support member, and the free-standing lip (3) is provided at its inside with a beak (4) entering a corresponding clearance (5) in the guide rail when the support member is slipped onto the guide rail and secures the support member against being pulled off the guide rail.
Abstract:
The bowden cable drivingly connecting a crank on a motorcar door to a carrier for the window in the door has a plastic compression member whose ends abuttingly engage retaining members near the crank and the window carrier. The ends are of non-circular cross section, and their angular movement about the longitudinal axis of the cable is prevented by conforming engagement with respective retaining members.

Abstract:
A cable guide for use with a window regulator assembly includes a body with a first rail support surface and a second rail support surface in a guide rail region, and a cable support surface and a cable retention arm in a cable region. The first rail support surface is configured to pass through an aperture in a guide rail and be placed on a first side of the guide rail and a cable retention arm configured to receive a tensioned drive cable of the window regulator. The cable guide with the first and second rail support surfaces is steadily secured to the guide rail by utilizing the pushing force from the tensioned drive cable. The aperture is located along the guide rail such that the aperture is out of the slide path of the window carrier of the window regulator assembly.
Abstract:
A device for a motor-driven adjustment of a vehicle door, in particular comprising a traction mechanism configured to be mounted to a vehicle door and comprising a motor drive unit and at least one flexible traction member, the at least one flexible traction member being connected to a check arm to be fastened to a vehicle body structure and the motor drive unit, and the motor drive unit being configured to drive the at least one flexible traction member for pulling the check arm, by the at least one flexible traction member, along an adjustment path for adjusting the vehicle door relative to the body structure.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a supporting element which takes the form of an angle bar. Suitable means are used to provide the bar with a cable guide sheave and the supporting element and the sheave, together with the aforementioned means, are mounted on a guide section of the type used in window regulators. Preferably, a supporting element and a sheave are provided close to each of the ends of the above-mentioned section.
