    摘要: A retract gate has an upper roller assembly, a lower roller assembly, an axial tube, a holding pole, and a screen body. The upper roller assembly has a rolling mechanism and a controlling mechanism. The controlling mechanism has a switch and an engaging component, the engaging component selectively sticking the differential crown gear. Two ends of the axial tube are connected with the upper roller assembly and the lower roller assembly. Two ends of the screen body are securely fixed on the holding pole and the axial tube. When the upper roller assembly is turned on, the rolling mechanism is released; when the upper roller assembly is turned off, the rolling mechanism can memorize the maximum length of the screen body and make the screen body not able to be unrolled further. Consequently, the retract gate can restrict babies and pets within a safe area.

    摘要: A hazard alert device, which can be battery powered or hard wired, is configured to provide a hazard alert when a gate along an edge of an elevated surface is in the open position. Upon detecting the gate is in the open position, the device produces an audible and visual alert. When the gate, disposed within a portion of the barrier, is opened to allow the movement of people and/or materials to or from the elevated surface, the device includes a snooze mode enabling the audible alarm to be silenced for a period of time. If the gate is inadvertently left in the open position, the audible alert serves as a reminder to close the gate. This device may include first and second sensors with dual channels (output signals) and dual cross-checking processors that continually compare outputs from the sensor channels to identify any defect in the sensor or wiring.

    摘要: A pair of swingable gate sections include respectively associated latching mechanisms for normally latching the gate sections in a closed position and further include a pair of spaced triggering members engageable by an approaching vehicle for automatically activating the latching mechanisms to unlatch the gate sections and allow the latter to be swung to an open position under the force exerted by the vehicle as the latter passes through the gated area. The gate sections are respectively mounted by inclined hinges on a pair of spaced supporting members whereby the gate sections are automatically drawn under the influence of gravity back to their closed positions after the vehicle has passed therethrough whereupon the latching mechanisms automatically relatch the gate sections in their closed positions. The engageable trigger members each comprise a pivotally mounted U-shaped structure presenting an engageable surface area on each side of each gate sections to allow a vehicle to automatically unlatch the gate sections by traversing the gated area in either of two directions. Each gate section is provided with a pair of actuatable latching members which cooperatively engage corresponding keeper elements stationarily secured on the ground to latch the gate sections in a closed position, and the latching mechanisms are responsive to the pivotal movement of the trigger members for releasing selective ones of the latching members from their corresponding keeper elements to accomplish unlatching of the gate sections. As a further feature, a locking assembly connected between adjacent extremities of the gate sections functions to maintain the latter in a closed position until both of the trigger members are simultaneously actuated by a vehicle whereby to simultaneously unlatch each of the gate sections for swinging movement to the open positions thereof, thus preventing inadvertent opening of a single gate section by livestock having engaged a single triggering member.
