摘要： A tunneling system includes a bolter miner, a bolter-integrated transportation machine, a transfer machine, a self-moving tail and a belt conveyor. The bolter miner includes a rack, a cutting device, and a bolt support device. The bolt support device includes a lifting assembly, a work platform, a first drilling frame assembly and a stabilizing assembly. The lifting assembly is arranged between the rack and the work platform. The first drilling frame assembly and the stabilizing assembly are arranged on the work platform. The bolter-integrated transportation machine is arranged behind the bolter miner and configured to transfer coal rock cut and conveyed by the bolter miner. One end of the transfer machine is connected with the bolter-integrated transportation machine, and the other end of the transfer machine is lapped with the self-moving tail. The belt conveyor is arranged behind the self-moving tail.

摘要： A mobile rig for use in lowering a string comprising joints of a conduit into a well is provided with a rig transporter comprising a motorized unit, a mast assembly, a pivotal connection on the mast assembly with respect to the rig transporter. At least one hydraulic arm is pivotally mounted to the rig transporter and the mast assembly operable to move the mast to an upright position and for lowering the mast to a substantially horizontal position for transportation. In one embodiment, a top drive is mounted in the mast which is raised and lowered with the mast whereby the top drive is transported in the mast in the substantially horizontal position.

摘要： An apparatus is for use by an operator in forming boreholes in a mine passage including a rib and a roof. The apparatus includes a boom having a proximal end mounted to a base, such as a vehicle. A drill supported by the boom near a distal end thereof is adapted for drilling into the rib of the mine passage. An operator's station carried by the boom adjacent the drill includes a platform for supporting the operator arranged at least partially between a generally vertical plane aligned with the second lateral side and the rib. Accordingly, the operator can access the rib when positioned on the operator's station without interference from the boom.

摘要： An auger assembly for drilling holes or similar openings in the ground includes an auger blade mounted for vertical movement and a dirt retaining shell that surrounds the auger blade also mounted for vertical movement independently of the auger blade. When the hole has been drilled to the appropriate depth, the retaining shell is lowered down into the hole to surround the auger blade and the auger blade and the retaining shell are removed from the hole simultaneously. The retaining shell retains the dirt on the auger blade to prevent the dirt from falling back into the hole. A pair of lateral extensions provide a cutting a cutting edge on the perimeter of the auger blade in order to provide a hole which is slightly larger in diameter than the diameter of the auger blade to permit the retaining shell to be lowered around the auger blade. Another element of the assembly is a pair of sweeper arms mounted coaxially with the auger blade but independent from the auger blade and oriented adjacent the surface of the ground to disperse dirt being removed from the ground to prevent the dirt from falling back into the hole. The entire auger assembly is mounted on a tractor or other vehicle for transporting the auger assembly through the field. Hydraulic equipment is used to power and actuate the auger assembly.

A mast is pivotally mounted on the frame for movement between an upright working position and a non-working position (in which it lies substantially flat on the frame). The frame also supports a platform, which is also pivotal relative thereto in the vertical plane. A carriage is arranged to move along the mast, the carriage supporting a cutting head such as a shearer drum. The mast can be positioned in an upright position at either end of the frame, so that the machine can carry out work in both directions of travel.

摘要： A ground supported mobile machine appropriate for subterranean installation of piping and the like has a tractor vehicle carrying a trencher driven from the tractor power source, a power operated backfill blade operated from such source to facilitate transporting a tool and drill rod holder, and a vertical drilling attachment powered from the tractor power source; this drilling attachment including a vertical mast providing guide rails for the carriage of a rotary drill head that is reciprocated by a hydraulic actuator along such rails to (1) raise the vehicle to enable positioning stabilizing feet for a vertical drilling operation, (2) manipulate the drill rod and drill bit thereon in performing such a drilling operation, and (3) push piping into the drilled hole upon completion of such drilling operation. A drill table is associated with the vertical mast which carries hydraulically actuated slips to grippingly engage the drill rod to preclude undesired downward rod movement while permitting upward movement of the rod relative to such slips and pipe wrench tongs operable to break free a threaded joint between drill rod sections or a rod section and the drill bit. The drilling attachment further includes a pipe pusher having an upper piping clamp releasably attachable to the drill head carriage to move therewith in pushing piping into the drilled hole and a lower piping clamp releasably attachable to the drill table to guide and hold the piping during the pipe pushing operation.

摘要： A brake release arrangement by which damage which otherwise would result from the application of excessive side loading to rotating equipment such as the boom of a digger derrick or crane is avoided. The drive system for rotating the boom includes a hydraulic motor, a non self-locking speed reducer and a spring applied, hydraulically releasable brake. Included in the brake release mechanism is a line which taps into the hydraulic line leading to the power equipment mounted on the boom and whose operation develops side loads. An adjustable pressure reducing valve in the tap line provides a fluid output at a reselected pressure to a small chamber in the brake housing. The pressurized fluid in the chamber acts on a piston which, when the side loading on the boom is great enough to cause damage, partially relaxes the brake force thus to permit slippage and back drive of the speed reducer and motor thereby to relieve the side load torque.
